Ties are fine. If you haven't seen a film, don't just blatantly ignore it in favor of something else, especially since you wouldn't be able to form an opinion of if it's better or not. That's not fair to the movie.
Then you could get like some real obscure movie that maybe only 3 people have seen on here but they loved it so they'd vote for it over a popular movie that everyone loves but since the people that would vote for the popular movie haven't seen the obscure movie the obscure movie would could end up moving on over a better movie just bc the only three people that had seen both of them could have been the only three that nominated the obscure movie.
IDK there's negatives to both ways, I think having people vote whenever they want is fine bc we have plenty of people abstaining if they haven't seen both on their own, I don't think you should have to not vote for a movie you absolutely love just bc you haven't seen another movie. It'd be one thing if they'd only seen one movie out of the two and they didn't care for the movie they'd seen but they still just vote for it bc they never saw the other one.
