Cabinet is such a surreal movie it just has to get my vote. ONE OF THOSE EARLY MOVIES HAVE TO MOVE ON GOD DAMMIT.

Caligari all the fuckin' way, not only is it a trip the whole way through but I love the twist at the end even though I've heard it's kind of unpopular

Disagree. The original was a great concept and Chucky such a distinct horror character. Plus its one of those 80's films where New York looks grimy and sinister, which I like. Its actually one of the more consistent horror franchises (I only dislike 2 out of seven movies). Bride of Chucky is actually my favourite of them. Having said that I'm still going Caligari. But its pretty close.
