To start this off, I wanna be specific. We're not talking about when the glass shatters and Austin comes out. Or when Hollywood Rock came out and etc.
This is about Today's brand of wrestlers and their moments past and present.
Obviously it's down to Edge or MVP.
I wanna say Taker but god damn i can only stand him walking down to the ring taking 7 minutes for however long he's been doing it. Must be at least a decade now.
Last year, MVP's wrestle mania entrance was simply phenomenal came with cheerleaders and everything.
But then when you look at Edge and you realize he's never had a bad entrance. Brood entrance was fucking awesome, Fire, the blood and that wicked smile, awesome. E&C was bland at first, but when they're characters got developed they came out with the goofy sunglasses and did the three second pose(So fucking awesome). Edge's face run as a singles wrestler he would come out of the crowd to Rob Zombie, again awesome.
When he first debut'd the Mettalangius (fucking name) song it easily blew everything out of the water. His theme would start up as smoke fills the entrance and right before the lyrics started everything went black including his tron and then a single pyro would explode and he would then come out.
Then when he added Lita, the chemistry between the two was so real and an already superb entrance benefited from it. Right after he came out following the single pyro, he would stare in Lita's eyes while they held hands then reel her in. Hug/kiss/Eskimo kiss, Edge doing that tougne motion he does so well. Then after that exchange they would continue the entrance and Edge would get his game face on. Everything played to his gimmick to the tee. He is the Rated R superstar and he's all about Sex, Violence and rock and roll (drugs too, well anyway i think so, if not mainly for the reason he has coke eyes.) I wanna call this awesome but it's more then that, so it's really really awesome entrance
Fastforward now and his character developed which means his entrance develops. Everyone has known since the WWE told us waaaay back in his debut what the WWE championship ment to Edge and it's a whole fucking lot. I shouldn't have to explain what the WWE/WHC title means to Edge because he lets you know every week and sometimes it's just by his stature.
And know that he has the prize that he has so badly wanted and past the phase of a transitional champion his entrance speaks for itself. He comes out to the same tune but he dropped his single pyro which grew so well on me. Why? So now when he comes out he can raise his title in the air or pose as pyro explode everywhere. If that doesn't say I'm the god damn champ so i get the god damn pyro then you're lying to me because that's exactly what it says.
So for the tl;dr Edge is the man, he's your World Heavy weight champion and he has the best entrance in the WWE any day of the year past or present.
