Oh... didn't even see the date this was posted. He's been irrelevant this year, so I was outraged that you'd even name him. I'd go as far as to say Downing has been better this year.

Whilst you may have put that in humour, I'd agree. Valencia has been tragic, and has lost all confidence. That, and the fact defenders now research him, has hindered his season. He only has one foot, so he goes down the same route every single time (right foot on the outside). Honestly though, Valencia would be an awesome right back, CDM, or even CM. I've said this for a while. He's a good stand up tackler, has so much energy & pace, and can single handedly start attacks. The guy doesn't have enough skill or class to be a winger now though imo.
