It should be interesting seeing it playing out as a drama rather than a sitcom. Although Fresh Prince did have its fair share of emotional moments too.

First episode was wild. Gonna spoiler tag it since it’s brand new and everything, so not to ruin it.

they have a few little jokes here and there, but it’s mostly pretty dramatic. Carlton snorting pills, so that’s a thing. Will’s friend gets shot by the end of the episode. Carlton isn’t as much of a little bitch here as he actually attacked Will over Will and his ex getting all up on each other at a party, even tho it was just pushing him into the pool. Then Will punched him lmao. So far so good imo

Ooh a season 2 excellent. I'm hoping to see some more links to the original this time around as somethings just weren't sitting right at times. I get it's a modern take on the original but come on give us oldies who went coast to coast with the original more to work with.

I want more Geoffrey anticts and more Jazz.
