Points of Interest:

SSE isn’t started just yet. Once PWO reaches Instinct it will lift off. This is basically a developmental area, and its shown three times a month. Results only will be posted. Some appearances of main roster PWO star’s maybe displayed. Obviously, Thursday Night Hazard is my main show, which will display all my main talent.

Annexation is going to be my equivalent to WWE’s Survivor Series (with a big twist that should be able to spot by the name), as is Homecoming to the Royal Rumble, and Glory Road to Wrestlemania. My only change is that rather than the Gauntlet in Homecoming, I will have a elimination chamber match where the winner goes onto Glory Road to face the PWO Heavyweight Champion.

Extreme Elevations is a no holds barred pay per view with the main event having the PWO Champion defend in an five man gimmick ladder match. Honestly, thats a smart way of saying its a King of The Mountain match without carrying the ladde up, instead the wrestlers just qualify, climb, and pull down. The other matches are all contested under extreme rules.

This probably isn't going to pick up for about another week, or two due to state examinations, but I just wanted it up. Btw, since I'm taking school as more of my main priority, I will be writing to a more toned down level. A much more toned down level. I've planned a lot out though as it is, and have several ideas brewing in my head. GWF probably failed due to my third, and half of my fourth show being deleted, and me not having motivation to continue.

Nice combination of rosters there... I have nothing to say about the backstory since theres none but as what I am seeing, it could be good, we could see some new feuds on the road. I am sorry that I haven't been updated with your work but as far as I know you have another BTB before this, does it mean you're stopping it? Other than that, Good start.

from theWrestlingObserver.com

The newest wrestling promotion, Profound Wrestling Organization, has signed the following superstars to developmental deals for their on the horizon project, Star Searching Entertainment. Bryan Danielson, an acclaimed Ring of Honor star who PWO chairman Michael Adams was widely interested in. Also, off the recomendation of Talent Director Eric Bischoff, Evan Bourne, and Matt Bently were signed onto the project. Not to mention, on the project, another Ring of Honor star, Austin Aries is put up. Staff is said to be very high on Aries, but an interesting note is that another SSE future star, Jamie Noble is said to be grouped in a tag team with Aries. The team would definetly be intersting, but the chemistry is unsaid as the staff, and creative team have mixed opinons towards the two. A few add on's where also the hulking monster Michael Hettigna, also known as Mike Knox from previous promotions.

PWO is very interested in the Ring of Honor tag team champions Jimmy Jacobs, and Tyler Black. Michael Adams even proposed a contract to Jacobs, and Black, but the neglected due to their yearly contract with Ring Of Honor. Their contracts expire June 15th, so we expect further update by then.

April, 30th, 2009 | Preview

Business is on the verge of picking up, as tonight we see the first every, history making, Thursday Night Hazard. This won't be a show to miss as we are treated witht the aftermath of Profound Wrestling Organization's first pay per view Exodus which witnessed the crowning of our Rated R Heavyweight Champion, Edge.

Edge promises to usher in the Rated R Era with his newly obtained belt, as he will open up the show, and more than likely have his new mentor, and associate Mick Foley by his side. Expect Edge to rock the cradle, we will see how he reacts to the main event. The main event will see four of PWO's biggest stars battling it out to make the main event for PWO's Instinct pay per view. We will see The Worlds Largest Athlete, the Big Show teaming with none other than the Boss, John Cena. The two enemies try to coexist when they try to topple the Instant Classic, and the champion's brother Christian Cage, and the Legend Killer, the champions former partner, Randy Orton. All four men are hungry for gold, but their chemistry in the main event will decide the two opponents for Edge at Instinct. Who will move onto face Edge?

Also on the debut, we will see Samoa Joe, the Transnational Champion make an appearance, as he sucessfully captured the belt when defeating Montel Vontavious Porter in the Exodus event. What effect will The Samoan Submission Machine have on the show?

At Exodus, we saw the Big Red Machine, Kane defeat both Marcus Cor Von, and CM Punk in a brutal triple threat match. Tonight, we see the fresh off a loss Alpha Male, and Straight Edge Superstar battle it out to see who takes on Kane in a rematch at Instinct. The two combatants prove they are distinguished stars when fighting to compete against a beast. Talented? Yes, but who can out last the other?

John Morrison will be in action, as he takes on the American Hero, Jack Swagger in a singles match. Two young, and talented stars, but only one can be dubbed the victor. Will The Guru of Greatness jumpstart his champaign for gold, or can Swagger prove his loyalness to the nation with a victory?

Be sure to tune into PWO Hazard

Looks good. I'll be sure to check out the first show.

I love it when people say this and never look at the BTB again.

Diesel, sucks that your GWF shows got deleted, that was a BTB with a lot of potential. I'm not saying that this isn't, but hope it works out. Looking forward to your shorter matches too.

The roster to me looks a bit small? there isn't room for much variety with many possible contenders. But it does look good; hopefuly you can tone it down a little with the matches and Ill try and give it a read. Good luck. The preview looks great you have some great things ready for the first show.

Big Show & Cena vs. Orton & Cage
Edge vs. Cor Von (I think that's what happening from what I understand)
John Morrison vs. Jack Swagger

PYRO!
PYRO!
PYRO!

The pyro fires up the PWO stage, as the fans cheer on the new promotion. The set is similar to most wrestling shows, and the crowd is just as ecstatic as ever. The fans are introduced by Jim Ross, and Jerry Lawler, who also make themselves known as the PWO commentators. The crowd continues cheering on the show, as the commentators speak on their first pay per view, Exodus, and its results. The sold out crowd occupying the Hammerstein Ballroom doesn’t seem to quiet down, as their silence is finally initiated by the lights being cut off, only for smoke to flare up at the top of the stage. Many ponder on what the cause of the smoke is, and others regret knowing what is next. Outcomes, from the back of the building, accompanied by a blast of pyro, the PWO Heavyweight Champion, Edge. The Rated R Superstar, with his signature rock star like vest, and sun glasses, which have an ironic purpose, as Edge is in a building. None the less, Edge show’s our opinions, or the fans opinions don’t matter, as he strolls down to the ring while the New Yorkers pour down bucket loads of heat on the PWO wrestler. Edge slides into a ring which is neatly decorated with two stools, a bucket upon a stand containing an iced down bottle of wine, and a small night stand like table containing two wine glasses. “Metalingus” is midway through, and Edge has a rather triumphant smirk across his face. Edge climbs the nearest turnbuckle after circling the ring a few times. Edge takes off his sunglasses, and removes the straps from his belt, as he gradually raises the belt with his left hand, and displays a corna taunt with his right hand.

Jim Ross: “Our PWO Heavyweight Champion. The Rated R Superstar. Edge.”

Jerry Lawler: “Yeah, and you can tell the guy doesn’t care what any of us think.”

Edge drapes the title across his shoulder, as he pats his championship. Edge hops off the turnbuckle, and takes off his vest. A staff member comes in, and trades a microphone with Edge for his vest. Edge walks around, and smiles to the crowd, much to the demise of the fans. Edge holds his microphone up, hopefully about to speak his mind, but the crowd decides to cut off the champion with a generic “You Suck!” chant. Edge shows frustration in his facial gestures, and attempts to speak again.

Edge: “You filthy, mindless, morons.”

The crowd responds with tons of heat, as Edge is now ensued in what seems to be an argument with each, and every single person in attendance.

Edge: “It doesn’t matter what u buffoons believe, think, say, or do. All that matters is this right here.”

Edge holds up the championship knowing that he’s hitting a hot spot with the crowd. The crowd repents with more heat.

Edge: “Hah, but anyways, tonight, I take a break. I get what I deserve. I get to celebrate the Rated R Era. The baptism of all that I represent. And now all of you will take on my gene’s, much like the rest of the smart individuals who have come to realize that its just to damn hard to be like me. So might as well take notes because tonight, we’re doing it my way.”

Edge smiles, and walks over to the bucket stand. Edge lifts the wine bottle, and looks around the arena. Edge nods his head before speaking again.

Edge: “Before anything is done, I want the man who I cant party without. My partner, my associate, and my colleague. A legend, and a former champion such as myself. Mick Foley!”

“Crash, and Burn” comes on, as the crowd cant help but cheer the newly aligned legend, as Foley appears in his lumberjack like uniform, and smiles to the Edge. The smile, rather than a warm loving one, seems like more of a deceiving, conniving, and successful smile. Mick Foley eventually makes it ringside where he much like his partner, Edge, slides into the ring, and as soon as he makes it to his feet, embraces the PWO Heavyweight champion with a warm hug. Edge then pulls away, and places the microphone on the stool. Edge pops open the wine, as Mick Foley recovers the glasses. Wine is poured into the glasses, as Edge takes one delightful chug of his glass, and Mick, in much more etiquette manner, works his share of wine. Edge gets his microphone again, and makes one more demand.

Edge: “For all of you out hear tonight, I want to witness the earning of my championship, so play the clip!”

A clip is shown of Edge’s highlight in his pay per view main event. The clip shows Edge spearing most of his opponents, an edgecution onto a steel chair, and the final spear that earned him the PWO Heavyweight championship on John Cena.

Jim Ross: “Those are Rated R highlights from Exodus I guess you may say.”

Jerry Lawler: “Man as much as a manipulator he is, you got to say, its fun watching the devil.”

Edge celebrates in the ring with Mick Foley, as everything hit’s the fan when “Killing Beat” comes on. As soon as the crowd catches on, “Joe is gonna kill you” melody’s play, as a green, and red blinker entertains the crowd. Out comes, in a black t-shirt, and wrestling trunks. Samoa Joe, already with a microphone in one hand, and a sparkling Transnational Championship in the other, looks at the crowd with a serious expression. Joe has a tongue in cheek like expression, as he looks down the ramp, and at the celebrating partners.

Samoa Joe: “Edge, the PWO Heavyweight champion. A former multi time champion. The Rated R Superstar. I’ve heard a lot of stuff about you buddy.”

Edge has his microphone down, and is to occupied to pick it back up.

Samoa Joe: “Looks like you and Ronald McDonald over there are having a blast together. I’m happy both of you have a good physical relationship inside, and outside the ring.”

Edge flairs his nostrils, as Mick tends to him, also looking disrespected.

Samoa Joe: “Well, see, you may be champion, but so am I, so I think I should be apart of the grand celebration don’t you think?”

Edge has enough, and picks up his microphone, as he’s about to respond, Samoa Joe cuts him off again.

Samoa Joe: “What’d you say Edge? I come down their, throw down my belongings, you throw down yours, and we dance? Mick can join to if his bones haven’t cracked to dust yet.”

Edge: “The only thing cracking here, is the floor boards beneath you. Shut up Joe! You say you’ve seen me before. Well sorry to say, I haven’t for you. I mean you do look like you’ve been at a locale fast food place right?”

Samoa Joe: “Hah, typical. How about I go down their, and I prove I can make you have a heart attack before me.”

Edge: “That’s not a surprise, your titanic appearance will give anyone a good startle.”

Samoa Joe drops his microphone, as Edge commands Mick Foley. Foley slides out the ring, and pulls a chair from the announcer. Foley comes back in, and hands it to Edge, as Samoa Joe is already heading down to the ring balling up his fists. Samoa Joe makes it ringside, as Edge taunts the Transnational Champion. Samoa Joe shows his taste for blood, as he growls, knowing it’s a sure loss if he rushes in. Mick Foley also taunts the Samoan. Samoa Joe tells them to come out, but they refuse, as Joe tries climbing the steel steps but Edge is about to toss his chair at Joe. In the midst of action, “I’m Back” plays to a surprising tone, as on the titantron Eric Bischoff appears.

Eric Bischoff: “Surprised? I am myself, but I am the new talent director of Profound Wrestling Organization, so I make the calls around Hazard. I like the chemistry you to have, and a champion versus champion match isn’t so bad. But, I have a big schedule as it is this week so next week you to can dance, or whatever it is you may call it. Edge, tonight your two number one contenders will be determined for Instinct, and I need my champion in tip top shape so I cant afford you having back to back matches. Joe, you can do whatever you please, since your so able, you can manage yourself, and your body tonight. But being that Edge is going to be watching his real opponents, I suggest you do the same. Although Lethal doesn’t have a match tonight, he should be training, much like you should be.”

Samoa Joe nods his head in approval, as Edge just stares at Joe with hatred, and repent. Samoa Joe hops off the steps, and goes up the ramp with his PWO Transnational champion, as the crowd cheers and chants Joe. Samoa Joe points to Edge, and mouths some words as Edge is floundered by them. Edge clutches his world title, as we go to an advertisement break.

Ad Break

We are reintroduced to the scene by Jim Ross, and Jerry Lawler who speak on the main event which will be a number one contender’s tag team match consisting of John Cena with the Big Show versus Randy Orton, and Christian Cage. Lawler picks favorites, as Ross identifies pro’s, and cons of both teams. Jim Ross then brings up the recently made match of Edge versus Samoa Joe next week, in a champion versus champion match. Lawler hypes the event, as we cut backstage to an unknown scene.

Jim Ross: “We’re back live at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where we are supposed to be seeing Ted Dibiase Junior, and his associate Cody Rhodes.”

The camera makes a sharp turn, and we go into a corridor where Rhodes, and Dibiase approach looking as venomous as a pair of pythons. The two pass the camera, and go down the hallway where the barge into a locker room. A television is on showing some cartoon’s as none other than PWO tag team champion Eugene is being mesmerized by the program. Cody Rhodes is about to interrupt Eugene, when William Regal steps in from behind.

William Regal: “Yes gentlemen?”

Team Priceless direct themselves to Regal, obviously the mouth piece of the tandem.

Ted Dibiase Junior: “Um, Regal, Cody and myself want shots at the belts.”

William Regal seems pretty calm about the statement, but replies in smoothness, not showing a sign of edginess.

William Regal: “Aw, but you see gent’s, I quite believe you are inquiring the wrong man. I surely don’t make the calls around here, so I recommend you redirect yourselves to Eric Bischoff. Eugene’s ungrateful uncle.”

Cody Rhodes steps in, and keeps the conversation flowing.

Cody Rhodes: “Listen, old chap.”

Rhodes says the last line with obvious mimic of William’s English accent.

Cody Rhodes: “Don’t play with us. You’re the champs, do you defend against us, or not?”

Eugene turns around, and finally takes part in the conversation.

Eugene: “Oh man!”

Eugene hops off his child stool, as he claps awkwardly, and gets close to the challenging youngsters. Eugene fumbles upon putting a sentence together.

Eugene: “Your dad’s are my heroes! U, U, Your dad is the million dollar man. Te, Ted Dibiase! That’s cool!”

Eugene gives a grateful clap, and then directs to Cody Rhodes.

Eugene: “Oh man, oh man, and your dad is Dusty Rhodes. The American Hero. You got to get me an autograph.”

Team Priceless try to adjust to the situation, but Regal pats Eugene in the back, and points to the television encouraging he stay out of the conversation. Eugene takes head to the advice, and returns to his previous situation.

Cody Rhodes: “Listen man, we’re getting what we want. Whether Bischoff says so, or not.”

Ted Dibiase Junior: “Ah, Ted, lets just go and ask him. How can he deny us? Come on. We are Priceless baby.”

William Regal: “You boy’s be safe now, and have a great night. Toddy O’.”

The camera goes back to ringside, as Jim Ross, and Jerry Lawler comment on the first upcoming match.

Jim Ross: “The Guru of Greatness, John Morrison, a talented wrestler, and innovating speaker, is here, and he will partake in the first match in Hazard history.”

Jerry Lawler: “His opponent. An American Hero, Jack Swagger, a former world champion, and a young son of a gun.”

Jim Ross: “As if age will really be a factor here King. Both of these two are future pioneer’s of wrestling, and their making their name now.”

A short, and subtle pause occurs before “Get On Your Knee’s” plays to the crowd. Out comes Jack Swagger warming up his arms, and showing his menacing smile. Swagger spits some water out, and comes down the stage ramp, and enters the ring through the steel steps. Swagger takes a minute at the ropes, and shows his distaste of the crowd with scowl.

Jim Ross: “Jack Swagger in his first PWO showing here. What can he do?”

Jack Swagger warms up before “Ain’t no make believe” startles the young superstar, as the slow motion entrance of John “The Thursday Night Delight” Morrison exit’s the backstage area, and enters the arena. Morrison poses at the top of the stage, and struts down swinging his hips with attitude in a nonfeminine manner, but more of a finesse mastered style. Morrison makes to the ring where he poses once more before climbing into the ring. Morrison stretches out his arms, as he removes his sunglasses and hands them to staff members.

Singles Match
John Morrison versus Jack Swagger

Swagger rotates his arms showing he’s ready for the match, and he begins to circle the ring, as Morrison squares up, and takes precaution for Swagger. The two engage in some holds, as Swagger looks for a hammerlock, but Morrison counters it, and eventually the action spills to the canvas when Swagger clips the back of John’s knee. John lands on his stomach, as Swagger immediately works the legs of Morrison by placing his weight on Morrison’s knee, and wrenching his boot back. Morrison yells in pain, and counters the hold by wrapping his legs around his attacker, and flipping Swagger on his shoulders. Swagger rolls away, as John gets back up to his feet. Swagger backs up to the ropes, in what seems to be an attempt at escape, but Morrison vastly approaches to run into an elbow to the groin. Morrison holds his crotch in pain, as Swagger takes Morrison back down with repeated forearms. Swagger tries to seal the deal with a pin, but receives a two count. Swagger tries to cover again, but this time is rewarded a one count. Morrison shows he isn’t letting out early, as he counters it into a small package sealing Swagger in for a two count only. John Morrison rolls back up to his feet, as Swagger rises unaware of what is going on. Swagger tries to attack John, but Morrison connects with an enzuiguri to the face of Jack Swagger PWO’s self proclaimed American Hero. Swagger front flips to the mat on his back, as John Morrison spins to his feet in finesse once more. John Morrison yells to the crowd, as he guides Jack Swagger to his feet. Morrison looks for a toss to the corner, but Swagger counters, and sends Morrison to his destination. Swagger then follows up with a shoulder into the abdomen of John Morrison. Morrison grunts in pain, as Swagger works Morrison over with disrespectful shots to the face. Swagger is working Morrison hard, as he then attempts to set up his super-plex. John Morrison pushes out of the corner, and gives himself a moment to breathe, as Swagger recomposes himself. Jack goes over to John, but is given a kick to the thigh followed by an Irish Whip to the ropes. Swagger returns, as Morrison tries to deliver his arm drag, but Swagger reverses into his signature submission hold the abdominal stretch! Morrison is now caught in a horrid position as he yells for help, and Swagger chuckles at Morrison’s demise.

Morrison has no choice but to tap as it seems, but Morrison delivers some forearms to the closest limb of Swagger. Morrison eventually eases the hold upon himself, as Morrison counters with an unexpected spinning Capoeria Kick to the chest of Swagger. Swagger falls back, as Morrison crawls around holding his abdomen. Morrison eventually hooks the leg in attempts of a win, but his attempts are failed as Swagger gets his shoulder up at the count of two. John Morrison sits up, and tries to argue with the referee. John eventually gives up as he stomps on the struggling Jack Swagger. Morrison picks up Swagger by the hair, and delivers a forearm to his back. Swagger is taken to the center of the ring, where he is connected with a stylish, and well executed Moonlight Drive by the predecessor John Morrison. Morrison kips up as the crowd is now fully behind the Guru. Morrison asks if he should end it only to receive a tremendous ovation. John Morrison smirks, and points to the down Swagger. John Morrison then makes his way for the corner, where he climbs, and calculates Swagger. Swagger is up sooner than expected, and charges for Morrison. Morrison has no choice but to leap off the turnbuckle, but is caught by Swagger, and connected with a devastating spinning side slam. The crowd boo’s the change in events, as Swagger covers Morrison for a sure end. Swagger is shocked, as is the arena, when Morrison gets his leg on the bottom rope in the last milliseconds. Swagger clutches his hair, as he rolls Morrison away from the ropes, and covers to get a two count this time. Swagger decides that the referee is playing unfairly as Swagger pursues Michael Chioda. Swagger has Chioda in a corner, and Swagger chuckles manically, as Morrison tries to get back up. Swagger realizes Chioda isn’t the opponent, as he rushes Morrison to connect with a big boot to the barely risen opponent. John Morrison is rammed by the boot of Swagger as falls to the mat again.

Jack Swagger beats his chest triumphantly, as the crowd begins to throw boo’s at the wrestler. Jack Swagger taunts John Morrison to get up, as Morrison can barely press himself up. Jack decides to make it quick, as he pulls Morrison up by the hair before tucking him in securely for the Powerbomb. Jack Swagger grins before hoisting Morrison up into the air. In the midst of his demise, John Morrison decides to gain a boost of energy, and he performs a hurricanranna on Swagger, to transition into the furious right, and left hands upon landing on top of the 21st century star. John Morrison shows his ruthless aggression with each hit, as the crowd cheers him on. The referee pulls John away, as Swagger is left crushed, and beaten on the canvas. John Morrison decides to do something he couldn’t earlier, as he starts for the corner. Morrison scales the turnbuckle again, to await Swagger’s rise. Swagger is now abroad, and facing away from The Shaman of Sexy, as the crowd taunts for his faith. Swagger groggily, and dizzily turns around into a missile dropkick from John Morrison. The attack from above proved to be worth while, as Swagger is motionless on the mat. John Morrison see’s the end clearly, when he performs a pin maneuver to receive the first win in PWO Hazard history.

Result: John Morrison pins Jack Swagger

Jim Ross: “An impressive outing of Morrison’s part, and an L to the record of Mr. Swagger.”

Jerry Lawler: “That’s going to sting his all American career.”

In the ring, Morrison is declared victor, as “Ain’t no make believe” plays for the crowd, and clearly Morrison’s delight. John Morrison stands over Swagger, and points downward at the knocked out superstar. John Morrison climbs outside of the ring, and caresses his hair in comfort, as staff members hand him his sunglasses, and a microphone as Morrison walks up the ramp.

John Morrison: “The Guru of Greatness, The Shaman of Sexy, The Thursday Night Delight is in PWO baby. There is no stopping now.”

Morrison’s voice, tired, and fatigued, as he breathes heavily. Morrison makes his way back to the back, as Swagger finally begins to move inside the ring. The referee tends to Swagger, as the commentators speak on Morrison, and what is to come later on in the night. The camera shows graphic’s for the main event, and also CM Punk versus Marcus Cor Von tonight, which leads to words on the triple threat match that occurred at Exodus where Kane defeated CM Punk, and Cor Von. Tonight, the two loser’s will contest to see who faces Kane at Instinct. Lawler backs the powerhouse Cor Von, as Ross doesn’t doubt CM Punk’s ability. We move onto another segment featuring the Guru of Greatness. The camera cuts backstage where Morrison is catching a breather with Grisham right next to him holding a microphone up.

Todd Grisham: “Uh, mister Morrison you requested to say something to everyone in attendance?”

John Morrison smirks, and removes his sun glasses as he speaks into Grisham’s microphone.

John Morrison: “If you think you can take me, be my guest, and step into the realm of the Morrison.”

Morrison walks off scene, as Grisham looks confused, and we go to another advertisement break.

We return to the backstage area again, but this time parking lot. Someone walking around is seen, as his feet go back, and forth across the pavement. The man is seen to be Randy Orton, as he is on a cell phone. The crowd pops at the sight of the Legend Killer. A limousine begins to pull up, as Orton ends his phone call. The limousine is turned off, as the back door opens up to reveal the Instant Classic, Peepshow, Christian Cage. Cage is in street clothes, and has a sports bag on his side. Orton walks up to Christian, and the two engage a long hard stare at each other. Christian smirks, as Orton offers his hand. Christian Cage looks at the hand, and accepts it. The two walk off, and we go back ringside to the commentators.

Jim Ross: “So it seems Christian Cage, and Randy Orton are on the same page tonight.”

Jerry Lawler: “Are their opponents John Cena, and Big Show just as in sync?”

Jim Ross: “We will have to find out tonight in the main event King.”

Jerry Lawler: “I’m sure we do JR, but right now we have a huge clash, as CM Punk, and Marcus Cor Von do battle to see who faces Kane at Instinct. Something I’d fight to not do, but these two want to prove themselves.”

Jim Ross: “It’s the drive King, the drive inside these men.”

The camera pans around the Hammerstein Ballroom as the crowd cheers constantly for the show. All the cheers eventually die down, as the commentators stall by plugging Instinct. Eventually, “Alpha Male” hit’s the speakers introducing Marcus Cor Von to the arena. Cor Von arrives on the stage where he flexes for the crowd. The crowd gives off a mixed reaction, but Cor Von continues down the ramp, as pumped up as ever. Cor Von slams the mat when he gets ringside, and climbs into the ring. Cor Von beats his chest with his own forearm, as the crowd is undecided whether to applaud the man, or boo him. Marcus eventually growls as the crowd decides to pop.

Following the cheer, Cor Von is completely overshadowed by the chords of “This Fire Burns” by Spitfire, signaling none other than CM Punk’s arrival. CM Punk comes out from the back, as he poses for the crowd with his double corna, and Punk makes his way down to the ring, as he tags several fans, and eventually slides into the ring. CM Punk stretches out, as he hypes the crowd up while doing so. The crowd begins chanting Punk’s name as CM Punk smirks at his bigger opponent.

Winner faces Kane at Instinct
CM Punk versus Marcus Cor Von

The bell rings when Cor Von bum rushes Punk for a quick take down, but Punk evades carefully. Cor Von nearly runs into a corner, as he chases Punk. CM Punk slides outside of the ring, and awaits Cor Von outside. Cor Von goes outside, and Punk tries to turn things around by throwing Cor Von back in the ring, but Cor Von counters, and tosses Punk into the barricade. Punk goes in rib first, as Cor Von pulls Punk by the hair, and raises him in press slam position. Cor Von drops Punk on his neck, and continues using the environment to further damage the Straight Edge Superstar. After being tossed into the barricade, and slammed into the post, Punk collapses on his feet, as Cor Von dominates him with his painful tactics. Cor Von leads Punk up before rolling him into the ring. Cor Von climbs in after, in hope of earning his ticket to a match with Kane. Cor Von is greeted with his first two count of the night, as the crowd cheers for Punk being in the match still. Cor Von then decides to use a working method on Punk as continues using several powerhouse like submission holds on CM Punk. Cor Von damages the spinal area of Punk with the likes of a camel clutch, a Fujiwara Armbar, and finally a cobra clutch. Cor Von is seen applying the cobra clutch in a back breaker position as he demands Punk taps. Punk refuses, as he surprisingly gets out of the hold by bending forward, to force Cor Von to move to Punk’s will, and roll away. The match continues to progress as Punk proves that size doesn’t relate to talent when he puts up a good show case of Maui Tai styled knee’s, and elbows, followed by eventually turning the course of action with a huge round house kick to the face. The kick gave Punk the adrenaline rush needed to have PWO Hazard go into another ad break with Punk in control.

We return as Ross, and Lawler comment on what just took place as we see Marcus Cor Von, once again, on top. Wearing Punk down with a sleeper hold with the modification of applying his knee to the back of Punk. Punk begins to lose any sign’s he had previously, indicating life as the referee, Michael Chioda, picks up his hand. The first one drops as Cor Von applies even more pressure to the hold. The referee goes for the second, and things don’t look good for Punk when he reaches two. Chioda tells the crowd of the final count on the horizon. Punk keeps his hand up though as the crowd cheers the classic wrestling turn over. Punk, elbows his way out of the hold, and miraculously delivers a spinning heel kick to the head of Cor Von as soon as he reaches a balanced stand point. Cor Von falls back, as Punk attempts a cover on supposed Alpha Male. CM Punk doesn’t even receive a two count, as Cor Von throws his shoulder up at one. Punk is shocked at Cor Von’s strength. Punk pulls himself together, as he back pedals into the ropes, and bounces off to get caught with a short arm clothesline courtesy of the user of the Pounce. Punk’s head snaps backwards on the mat, as he distinguishes the pain in grunts, growls, and squirming like movements. Cor Von tells Punk to rise, as he does so. Cor Von picks Punk up, and delivers a very generic body slam back to the canvas. Cor Von then picks up Punk once more, tossing him into the corner back first. Punk bounces out the corner, only to be connected with a boot to the gut, followed by another whip to the opposite corner. CM Punk counters, and hops on the second turnbuckle upon approaching it. CM Punk leaps backwards, and surprisingly connects with a cross body, shifting much of the momentum in the match towards him. Punk lands in a cover getting a very close two.

Punk pulls his hair, as the crowd begins to challenge the referee’s decision. CM Punk’s loyal fans prove to effect his ability, as Punk gets up, and starts telling Cor Von to rise. Cor Von uses the nearest ropes to pull himself back onto his feet, as Punk signals for a finish in his long hard match. Cor Von, facing the crowd, turns around, to be hoisted upon the former world champion’s shoulders. CM Punk tries pulling Cor Von to the center of the ring, as Cor Von holds back onto the ropes to pull himself off, though failing at his attempts. CM Punk starts turning Cor Von, and once Cor Von’s feet touch the canvas, Cor Von sprints past Punk, and hit’s the ropes behind CM Punk. Marcus bounces off full throttle, as Punk turns into a devastating Pounce! The crowd booms with amazement, as CM Punk flies through the air, and then crash lands on the mat motionless on the ground. Cor Von beats his chest triumphantly, as the crowd boo’s heavily. Cor Von further teases, giving Punk time to rise to his feet. Cor Von asks the crowd to give him Kane, as the crowd responds with Punk chants. CM Punk slowly rises, but fumbles on himself constantly. CM Punk crawls over to the corner, as he tries to get back up, only to have Cor Von notice him. Cor Von pulls Punk by the hair, and bad mouths Punk up close, and personally. Cor Von cuts his throat, as he knee’s Punk in the abdomen. Punk holds his stomach in pain, and Cor Von points to the crowd. Cor Von tucks Punk tightly under his groin, and legs, as he is preparing for the Alpha Bomb. Cor Von struggles with hoisting Punk up, probably due to Punk holding Marcus’s own legs to ground himself. Then, unexpectedly, in fluid motion, CM Punk gets Cor Von back on his shoulders, and connects with the first, and final Go To Sleep of the night. Cor Von follows the name, and hit’s the mat unconscious, leaving Punk to collapse on Cor Von, and hook his leg to receive the match at Instinct with Kane.

Result: CM Punk pins Marcus Cor Von

Immediately following the bell, a burst of pyro lights the stage as the Big Red Machine, Kane comes out from the back. Kane walks through the fire, as CM Punk is helped up by the referee. CM Punk is dubbed the winner, and he looks up the ramp at his opponent, and nemesis Kane. CM Punk walks over to the corner, and scales the turnbuckles before pointing at Kane, letting him know that Instinct approaches. Kane stares back emotionless, as it seems. “This Fire Burns” still plays through out the ballroom, and we go to Jim Ross, and Jerry Lawler.

Jim Ross: “King it is set in stone, CM Punk versus Kane at Instinct, and boy these two are going to brawl.”

Jerry Lawler: “I can sense the powers are going to explode come Instinct. Oh boy JR, this is going to be one hell of a ride.”

Jim Ross: “Agreed, well backstage we have a camera crew in one half of the Murder City’s Machine Guns, Chris Sabin’s locker room.”

The camera does as predicted and goes to the locker room of Sabin, where Chris is taping up his hands. Chris Sabin throws a few punches into the air, as he smirks for the match coming up next. Chris Sabin stands up, and finishes taping his arm. Sabin turns around, only to be met with Sweet n’ Sour’s founder, and lead, Larry Sweeney. On Sweeney’s trail is his two partner’s, Shelton Benjamin, and Elijah Burke. Larry Sweeney has a smirk across his face, as his signature glasses hide his pupils.

Larry Sweeney: “Hey there buddy. Its Chris Sabin, the one and only true Machine Gun.”

Chris Sabin looks puzzled by Sweeney’s appearance, and he stares down his associates Benjamin, and Burke.

Chris Sabin: “Well ‘buddy’, it’s the Guns, and not just one of us. I need him as much as he needs me.”

Sweeney lets out a slight smirk, as he thinks of something to say.

Larry Sweeney: “That’s where you, and I don’t see eye to eye. I think your better than him. I think you don’t need him. He’s holding you back Christian. If you were to join, um, lets say, the winning team, Sweet n’ Sour, then you can be going places. Rather than just here stuck trying to win tag team belts off old hags, and mentally challenged monkeys.”

Chris Sabin is quick, and cunning as he fires back at Sweeney.

Chris Sabin: “Listen, I’m not trading Alex for you, its that simple. We’re closer than brothers, and I’m telling you, its not going to happen. Even if joining you three was to cross my mind, we’d join together, as the guns.”

Larry Sweeney reaches into his coat to pull out a sheet of paper. He rearranges his glasses, and pops a pen from his stationary pocket. Sweeney places the pen, and paper on the desk, and looks up at Sabin.

Larry Sweeney: “Whoa, I like you kid. You show your drive, and you show ability to stay together, but right about now, we’re only needing one component to the number one team. Remember, I’m not just there to shout your name, and cheer you on. Oh no, far from it. I’m there to make you, the boys, and myself some money. There’s the contract, you give me your answer next week, and we’ll see what happens from there. Even if it is a no, I’m going to offer you a once in a lifetime piece of advice. You can give it as much thought, but remember this: Sweet n’ Sour always has its doors open to Chris Sabin.”

Sweeney laughs, and pats Sabin in the shoulder.

Larry Sweeney: “Good luck out their kid.”

Sweet n’ Sour walks off the scene, as Sabin stares down at the contract. We go into yet another intermission right before Sabin’s match.

We come back to the commentators, as the crowd is cheering for PWO once again. We are shown a video clip of surviving wild man in the jungle, doing what he needs to do, no matter how brutal. The man eventually runs into yet another man, and the two just as about to due battle, the PWO logo is shown, and the word’s “Survival is a Must” comes out, followed by Instinct. The video is a promotional video for the next pay per view, and the commentators finish plugging the event.

Jim Ross: “Anyways, right now we have one more match, with the man we just saw. Chris Sabin, taking on none other than Ken Doane. Two men who seem to have perfected their craft through out their young career. Will a win tonight propel either of them to future rewards?”

Jerry Lawler: “We’re going to have to wait and see, but more on the match. What strategies do these two need to have when coming into a match with such differing styles?”

Jim Ross: “Well I wouldn’t doubt if Doane uses his pure wrestling ability to ground the high flying Sabin, but who knows what can happen tonight.”

“Pure Control” hits to announce the arrival of the self proclaimed future hall of famer. Ken Doane, comes out with his arms extended, as a shock of light colored pyro blasts in front of him. Doane walks past the smoke, and makes his way down the ramp chuckling at the crowd’s reception. A negative one at that. Doane climbs the apron on his knee, and eventually enters the ring, as the crowd boo’s him. Doane in wrestling trunks, and sporting a head band. Doane removes the band, and tosses it into the crowd.

Jim Ross: “By the way ladies, and gentlemen, Alex Shelley is not in the building tonight, as he is handling international affairs with PWO’s rival promotions. Shelley will definitely be in the house come the next Hazard, but word of Sabin venturing across the oceans is being heard.”

“1967” airs as Chris Sabin, one half of the Murder City Machine Guns comes out running to the ring. Sabin is tagged by fans as he has a wide smirk across his face. Sabin slides into the ring, and runs towards the corner where he poses for the crowd with the Murder City Machine Guns taunt. Sabin hops off, and stretches his arms, and is checked by the referee.

The stable eventually makes it to the ringside area, where Sabin hops off the turnbuckle, and gets closer to the team, staying inside the ring. Sabin tells them to get out, as Sweeney pulls out the contract, and paper and yells “Yes, or No”. Sabin repeatedly says no, as eventually he gives up, noticing that they aren’t leaving at all. Sabin hops back on a different turnbuckle, and measures Doane who starts walking towards the corner, still groggy. Doane climbs the turnbuckle, and the two do battle a top the corner. Doane nails several lefts, and rights, as Sabin sticks to his right armed forearms from a seated position on the top turnbuckle. The crowd begins to cheer, as Sabin gains the upper hand. Jerry Lawler: “That’s how things work. Get over it. Its called business. And that Larry Sweeney kid is one hell of a business man.”

Jim Ross: “Whatever you call him, it was wrong. Doane can be seriously hurt. Luckily, Chris Sabin helped his own opponent out. That’s wrestling, not that lack luster, mediocre, excuse my French, bullshit Sweeney just showcased. His first day in my eyes, and he’s not on my favorite list of wrestlers to be frank.”

John Cena miraculously rolls to the side, allowing Christian to connect his stomach to the mat! The crowd pops as John Cena slowly starts to rise. Randy Orton decides to enter the ring, and bursts at Cena.

Cena see’s Randy coming, and answers back with a hard left hand, knocking the Legend Killer to the mat. Randy Orton gets back up, and runs at Cena. John Cena shakes his head telling him no, as he traps Orton with a back drop over the ropes. Randy Orton flies through the air, and lands outside. John Cena, freshly disposed of an interferer, turns to the main attraction. Christian Cage. Christian is on all fours crawling away, as he uses the turnbuckles to get up at the corner. John Cena pumps his sneakers, and signals for a finish. Christian Cage faces away from Cena, and eventfully turns around to poke Cena in the eyes. The referee doesn’t catch this due to his angle, as Cena looks away bending over, and holding his eye sockets in pain. Christian Cage sees a golden window of opportunity, as he locks arms with Cena from behind, and pivots to get in just the right place for his Unprettier finisher! Christian gets in position, but out of no where John Cena spins out of the move, and hoists Christian Cage up onto his shoulders. The crowd goes insane as John Cena is about to nail his finisher the F-U. John Cena looks to the crowd, and is about to slam Christian when the unexpected occurs.

The stage is blasted by a shot of pyro as “Crank It Up” breaks the speakers. Out comes the seven foot tall behemoth who no showed his own partner tonight. Big Show comes out at the top of the stage, and walks down the ramp, as John Cena dares him to step in the ring. John Cena drops Cage off of his shoulders, rather than nailing the F-U. John Cena gets ready for a brawl, but Big Show stops halfway down the ramp. John Cena notices Big Show isn’t coming down, and turns around, and picks Cage up again. John Cena turns around, and looks at Big Show. John Cena tells Big Show this will be his faith, as he backs up, and is about to nail the F-U smack in the middle of the ring. Christian Cage is tries to fight off Cena, as he holds the top rope with his right hand. John Cena pulls Christian away, but Randy Orton makes a much needed tag as he sneaks in the ring. John Cena is unaware of the tag, as he is about to plant Christian with the F-U. Randy Orton runs in front of John Cena, and makes a tremendous vertical leap that seems to break the law’s of gravity, as Orton connects with a tremendous RKO on John Cena. The crowd boo’s the move, as John Cena is motionless on the mat. Randy Orton rolls Cena over, and covers him with a hook of the leg. The RKO seems to have done it as Randy Orton pulls the win for both him, and Christian.

Result: Randy Orton pins John Cena

Voices is heard again, as the crowd begins to boo. Many fans are seen leaving, as Randy Orton, and Christian are dubbed the winners of the main event. Randy Orton pulls away from the referee as he poses for the crowd amongst the turnbuckle. Christian Cage stares at Orton’s back, as the Orton’s theme plays indicating Orton earned the win. Big Show retreats to the back, as John Cena slowly begins to move. Randy Orton hops off the turnbuckle, and turns around to see Christian giving his hard cold stare. Randy Orton beats his chest triumphantly, as Christian turns away, before turning back making Orton flinch with the sight of Christian raising his hand. Randy Orton smirks, and then signals for the title in Christians face.

Jim Ross: “What a match. Randy Orton, and Christian are going to face Edge at Instinct for the PWO Heavyweight championship.”

Jerry Lawler: “Yeah, no better way to end an insane night. I’m excited to be on this organization, and I’m sure JR is too.”

Jim Ross: “Yes indeed, PWO is going to be the definition of sports entertainment in no time. I for one cannot wait to see the growth of Profound Wrestling Organization.”

Jerry Lawler: “Well its been an amazing night folks, so we’re signing off, and we wish you a great rest of the night, and a safe drive home. I’m the King, Jerry Lawler, and he’s Jim Ross, thank you for watching Hazard.”

The show ends with Randy Orton leaving the ring with Christian Cage inside. Randy Orton turns around, and points to Cage. The screen fades to black as the Hazard logo flashes across the screen.

ooc: PS, that is the new style, and formatting I will be using for this BTB. All the credit for the idea of formatting goes to BKB completly. I used the format he used for HOW. Which I am maddly in love with btw . Thank you BKB. The main event I got carried away with, and didn't exactly tune down, but if you've read my writing before, you can clearly tell the difference. More action, rather than the detailing that doesn't matter too much. Thanks in advance for all comments.

Bad start tbh, the opening video and the way you overdescribed everything at the beginning bored me. Your opening promo was way too descriptive for a weekly show and it lagged for the reader. That being said, the Edge/Joe interaction was pretty good but the Bischoff part at the end seemed kinda odd. The commentators' discussion is extremely pointless and boring to read, don't do this in the future, it makes reading a chore. Next we have Priceless in the promo with Regal/Eugene. Regal seemed almost too British tbh, even though he's a face you don't need to make him this polite and cheesy. Eugene was rather in charachter but Priceless slipped in and out of cockiness when they should have been 100% arrogant. Meh promo.

Next comes the first match. I though you said you were reducing your match size? It surely doesn't look like it, you still have the long matches as always. Idk what you see as recaps, but these aren't it. The face heel establishment should have been made clearer between Morrison/Swagger, it was unclear for a large portion of the match. The match itself was alright and the action was solid, though sometimes the action was too blocky, you should look to combine your sentences more as it makes reading less robotic. I liked the spot mid match with the Moonlight Drive, but the ending seemed a little anti-climactic compared to this. Decent match. Morrison putting himself over afterwards was unnecessary, but whatever.

Cage and Orton seemingly cool with each other doesn't sit well with me, either change this or it seems wrong. The entrances described this was are also pointless and boring as shit. Unnecessary, stop. Better match up next, but I feel Cor Von could have looked stronger and gotten more offense as the bigger man. Punk winning is good, him vs. Kane should be alright I guess. The Sweet and Sour promo with Sweeney was actually pretty good, both men played their roles well and I am interested to see how this pans out next week.

Nothing wrong with the Sabin/Doane match but it lacked a big spot or moment to make it memorable. The action flowed well and I liked the end with SnS and the Sunset Flip Powerbomb, but it seemed the two were just going through the movements. Post match is rather interesting, this could be a good angle. Btw, no puns in BTB plz. Big Show not arriving is meh, I sorta knew something like this would have happenned. Handicap match was inevitable after that promo, and here it comes.

First of all this match is too big for TV. Huge tbh. So large I almost dn't want to read it, but I will because... idk. This is the match of the night imo, it had the spots and the feel of a main event. The wreslters shone and all looked like stars here. You nailed thie movesets and the action was good. Rather impressed, this match had little negatives barring length. The ending was alright as I expected Show to turn up, but I laughed at you calling Orton's leap gravity-defying when it was just a simple jump for the RKO. Sometimes hyperbole is not needed and has no place in BTB.

This was an alright show, just tune down the pointless shit such as commentators, entrances and explained promos. Don't overanalyse. Promos were average on a whole and there were not enough, while matches were good yet too long. Quality > Quantity is the main point here. Decent first show, hopefully this BTB will be the one for you.
