This thread is to dedicate to the Man/Irish Lass Kicker, Becky Lynch.

Becky Lynch begin her wrestling career and training at the age 15 in 2002. She has wrestled for promotions in Europe and the North America lands. Most notable promotion she competed in was the Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling, also became the Inarguable Supergirls Champion in 2005. The University of Dublin College graduated studied philosophy, history and politics. She dropped out of those courses because she hated them. She then went back to college to study health and exercise studies.

Becky Lynch at the beginning of her career, she was trained by Finn Balor and Paul Tracey, alongside her brother Richy in June 2002. She alongside Richy started doing mixed tag team matches. She also trained in the British Professional Wrestling Promotion, NWA UK Hammerlock. Soon later in her career, Lynch joined the Canadian promotion Supergirls wrestling in May 2005 which is the ECCW ( Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling) . Knox had her first feud and won her debut match in Surrey, British Columbia. Later on in her time there she would win the Supergirls Championship. She would have a lot of successful title defenses in her time there but lost it to Lisa Moretti in April 2006.

She would particiapted in All Pro Wrestling's Third Chickfight Tournament and won her the first round but lost in the second bought against Mariko Yoshida. Becky would also be in the battle royal in Tokyo, Japan with 17 other woman. She would debut on Shimmer Wrestling in early 2006 as a heel when she would fake an injury against Allison Danger. Thus defeating her in the ring. She then would feud against Daizee Haze and winning the feud in a two out of three falls match. Becky would soon after defeat Sweet Saraya ( Paige's Mom and Former Partner) to win the vacated World Queens of Chaos Championship in Chouilly, France. She had that championship belt for a few months before dropping it to Saraya. In September 2006, in Germany. Becky Lynch would suffer a head injury in which she claimed that she was suffering from extremely painful headaches, loud buzzing in her left ear and vision. She also diagnosed with a possible damage to her eighth cranial nerve. She had to cancel her 60 woman iron match against Allison Danger, Shimmer Vol 7. Due to the injury.

Becky would take 6 years out of the ring and retire during that time. For time to time she would come back to wrestling promotions like Fight Factory Pro Wrestling in 2008, 2012, 2013 and in Shimmer as a manger for the Knight Dynasty ( Britani Knight/ Paige and Sweet Saraya) for 4 shows.

In 2013 Becky Lynch got signed to the WWE's NXT Developmental program. She came up with her own name. Becky for short since her real name is Rebecca and Lynch which is a Gym. Becky Lynch would make her NXT Debut in 2014, defeating Summer Rae. Soon after she would spend time losing matches against both Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks in solo matches, also in one tag team match with Bayley. In the fall of 2014, Becky Lynch would soon turn heel and join Sasha Banks as Best At Everything and feuding with Bayley since Becky turned on her. As soon as she turned, Becky begin winning matches. Becky Lynch would soon get a title match at NXT Takeover Rival in a Fatal Four Way match for the NXT Championship but lost to Sasha Banks that night. A few months later Becky would win a triple threat number one contenders match to face Sasha Banks for the NXT Woman's Championship at NXT Takeover Unstoppable in losing efforts. Lynch that night turned in a face with her performance also debuted her new Magic Of The Gathering Look. Soon later Becky Lynch would have her last ever full on NXT Match at the NXT Episode following NXT Takeover Brooklyn Pay Per View.

In the Summer 2015, Becky Lynch would make her WWE Main Roster Debut on Raw, along side Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks. She would form a stable with Charlotte and Paige as PCB. Soon they would be feuding with The Bella Twins and Team BAD for the rest of the year. In 2016 Becky Lynch would branch out on her own and feud with Charlotte over the WWE Diva's Championship, Sasha Banks soon after at Wm 32. Later that year Becky would start feuding with Emma before she got injured, Charlotte, Dana Brook and Nattie. Becky Lynch was the first woman to be drafted to Smackdown Live in the WWE Draft 2016. She would end her feud with Nattie on the first night of the new Smackdown Live show. At Backlash, Becky would be the first ever Inarguable Smackdown Woman's Championship in 6 pack woman's challenge. Becky would lose that belt to Alexa Bliss at TLC 2016.

In 2017 Becky Lynch would soon lose her feud to Alexa Bliss but beat Mickie James during their feud. That whole year was Becky's worst year ever in her WWE history. Was overshadowed and became Charlotte's Best Friend. She would go on to have wins and loses, mostly the 50 50 booking formula that WWE loves to do. She ended up beating James Ellswoth that summer. In 2017 fall she would be taken out by the Riott Squad in Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan. Reason for that is because she was being in a WWE Production Movie with HBK and The Miz in the Marine 6.

Becky Lynch would return to WWE Smackdown in Jan to defeat the Riott Squad and announce that she will be in the 2018 Woman's Royal Rumble match but failed win it. Lost at Fast Lane in a tag match against Carmella and Nattie. At Wm she lost in the battle royal. That summer she would go on in feuding with Many Rose, Sonya Deville and Carmella before Charlotte Flair returned. She won all of her matches that summer but lost at Money In The Bank to Alexa Bliss. At Summerslam 2018 she lost in a triple threat match to Charlotte Flair and turned heel that night in the same process. At Hell in A Cell Becky Lynch would defeat Charlotte Flair to become the two time Smackdown Woman's Champion. She then would successfully defended the belt against Charlotte Flair at Super Showdown, Smackdown Episode and last Woman Standing Match at WWE Evolution 2018. She later challenged Ronda Rousey to a match at Survivor Series 2018 in a Champion vs Champion match. The match ended up being canned because of a real life punch to the face on TV from Nia Jax. Becky Lynch would spend a month out of action. She chose Charlotte to replace her and a month later at TLC, she would lose the Smackdown Championship against Asuka in a triple threat TLC match.

In 2019 Becky Lynch would win a triple threat number one contenders match to face Asuka at Royal Rumble. Lynch would fail to capture the Smackdown Woman's Championship, on the same night she would win the 2019 Royal Rumble match. The night later on Raw, Becky would challenge Ronda Rousey for the Raw Woman's Championship. After several things Becky had to go through to get back into the match after being suspended from WWE after attacking officials like Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, she won her match against Charlotte at Fast Lane, thanks to Ronda for causing a DQ and getting attacked by her. Rousey would turn heel a few weeks later. The Raw before WM 35 Becky Lynch would get arrested again but with Charlotte and Ronda Rosey for attacking each other. Becky Lynch would win both Raw and Smackdown Championships at WM 35 in the main event.

Becky would lose to Charlotte Flair at Money In The Bank, her Smackdown Woman's Championship, thanks to Lacey Evans the new comer to the rosters. That full year Becky Lynch would feud with Lacey Evans, Charlotte Flair, Baron Corbin, Sasha Banks, Asuka and kairi Sane. Becky would successful defend her Raw Woman's Championship against Lacey Evans at Money In The Bank, Stomping Ground and Extreme Rules in a mix tag team extreme rules match. A month later against Nattie at Summerslam. Against Sasha Banks at Clash of Champions and Hell In A Cell, Hell in A Cell Match 2019. Becky Lynch was the first woman and person drafted to Monday Night Raw. A month later she would lose against Shayna Bazler in a triple threat champion vs champion vs champion match. Becky was not pinned or submitted, Bayley was but a lost is a lost. A month later she would lose to The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Kairi Sane in a TLC WWE Woman's Tag Team Championship match.

In 2020 Becky Lynch would successfully defend the Raw Woman's Championship against Asuka at Royal Rumble 2020 and Shayna Bazler at Wm 36. Becky Lynch would soon vacate the Raw Woman's Championship due to being pregnant in which Asuka won at Money In The Bank 2020.

I really miss Becky.

She really brought a lot to the product and made me excited to tune in. The day she comes back (whenever that may be) is going to be special.

Obviously she's my favourite and can't wait for her to come back, hopefully it's towards the latter end of the year though, I really don't wanna see her back in these awful no crowd environments.

Her transition from punny goofball to The Man was legendary shit and the run that she had from that point. Mugging off Cena in the above gif, getting CHEERED for making fun of Edge's career ending neck injury, opening up SD's debut on Fox and sharing the ring with The Rock. I could go on and list plenty more moments from that run but what's the rush.

Couple of misses though:

1.) Them trying to make her heel at the start and cutting the promo on the fans turning on her or whatever the specific verbage was

2.) Not getting the match vs Ronda at Survivor Series. Feud had seemingly been building perfectly and looked to be the perfect time for the two to clash which would have been epic. By all accounts that match would have played out the same way it did with Charlotte had Becky not had to be taken out.

3.) She wins in the main event of WrestleMania, Becky2Belts makes history and her next feud coming out of that is...Lacey Evans. Talk about an absolute wet fart and crashing right back down to reality. Luckily she managed to recover from that.

Yeah, I agree with you on the crowds aspect @Dale

I might not have bothered with WrestleMania again if not for the crowds returning for those nights. It is just weird without the atmosphere.

Could you have imagined Edge's rumble return without a crowd? It wouldn't have been stuck in my memory like it is now.

I said it before...her beating Ronda Rousey then working Lacey Evans was the beginning of a year long run that WWE really didn't know what to do with.

Never been a huge Becky fan. Still think she may be the weakest of the 4 Horsewomen but that 18 month run she had may never be touched by another woman again

She worked Lacey until Mid-June and then moved to Natalya for SummerSlam which actually turned out good, shockingly. The fact her popularity didn't wane over those 4 months despite who she got stuck with is actually a testament to how fucking popular she actually was.

Becky Lynch Cut Promo As Sister Abigail In NXT Promo Class, Steve Maclin Recalls

A lot of becoming a WWE Superstar is figuring out what works best for you. The Performance Center is a big part of that.

The promo classes in NXT have lived in lore, with some of the early Performance Center footage making its way to Youtube or even WWE documentaries. WWE veteran Steve Maclin spent a lot of time in the Performance Center, and remembers specifically seeing a promo that showed "it" from an eventual top star.

"One of the people there you saw, at least for me that I remember, was Becky Lynch did a Sister Abigail promo. I don’t know if you ever heard that story. I remember this just because, ‘Holy shit, this is cool. This is something different from Becky at that time.’ This is when she was in NXT. So, it was just something different and it was cool to watch," Maclin told Fightful.

Before the rumor mill gets started, Maclin clarified that wasn't a specific pitch, as instead it was just a promo in Dusty Rhodes' class.

"No. The point of Dream’s classes was to go in, throw something at the wall and you see if it sticks, and if it doesn’t, you move on. Dusty was the best. I loved it ‘cause he was just an honest person. He would start every promo class where you’d just sit there, ‘Alright, what’s the dirt?’ He just wants to know what’s going on. Who’s with who type thing. What’s the craziness? He already knows some of the dirt, so he’s just like, ‘C’mon, what’s the dirt?’ It was always just fun to see the creative process. But, he just brought everything out of everybody and sides of people you didn’t get to see. Like, I’m sure a lot of the leaked videos on YouTube and stuff that come from the PC, it’s great to see. But, there’s so much untapped potential out of so many stars that are even on RAW and Smackdown now that they could have had then. It’s just insane," Maclin said.

Seems like all the talent enjoyed those Dusty promo classes, they seem to get brought up a lot.

Seen some of those promos but not this one, would be interested in seeing that for curiosity's sake.

I think the reason Dusty Promo classes gets brought up a lot is because you get to see talent actually get to practice in front of their class and inside a studio. As well as getting to practice on what characters/gimmicks that they want to be or test to be. I remember in 2014 or 2015 on youtube, I seen Becky doing riddle promos from a fable book. That is what it is supposed to be in the Performance arts center is for people learn and have fun.
