Beach Break [AEW] - February Event #1 Results

A new month and a fresh start for everyone involved, and although we applaud Chris for winning the January Cup - that was so last month. The truth of the situation is that everyone's main concern is to win the February Cup. Which I can now present to you for the very first time...right now.

Now the February Cup is going to be a lot more difficult to win than last month's, solely on the reason that there will be a lot more events featuring in the WPC Grand Prix this month and therefore a lot more matches. We however, must first focus on the result from Beach Break. Although there was only four scheduled matches - we had a wide range of results take place. We had four entrants all end up joint in 2nd place, six entrants end up joint in 6th place and even three entrants end up joint in 12th (including our January Cup winner Chris). Unfortunatley, for the first time since the WPC Grand Prix 2021 begun we experienced our first entrant that failed to claim a win at an event. Our hearts go out to LadyHotRod - as we wish you the best of luck in the future.

Sitting at the top of the standing after Beach Break though is Adapting, who made their first appearance in the Grand Prix at the Royal Rumble. They now sit at the top of the board having gone 4-0 and joins Bobby Knox as the second person to claim a perfect round in the Grand Prix's history. Below are the full standings.​

We have a jam filled week in the WPC Grand Prix next week. Our first event will be New Japan's: The New Beginning in Hiroshima which will last over two nights starting on Wednesday Morning. Before moving on Impact Wrestling's No Surrender on Saturday and finishing off with NXT Takeover 33 on Sunday. So don't be surprised if you find yourself being tagged multiple times by yours truly.
