This wasn't WCW. Russo wanted Hogan to put people over. His contract simply gave Hogan completely creative control and that doesn't work for me, brother.

hogan basically held vice grip over main event scene

It's hilarious to me that both the US and WCW champions had high profile singles matches on this card but the belts weren't on the line

It was a perfectly clean 3 count, but the thing is, Hogan still didn't put him over on the level he could have. Or arguably should have.
