Revealed at the top of the show that Kurt Angle gets a bye due to Kane and Undertaker being a NO CONTEST last week. Angle & his protege AJ Styles will face John Cena in the main event tonight. Also Edge vs. Bradshaw in the semis of the WHC Tourney.
Austin rides into the building on his four wheeler and immediately charges into Goldberg’s locker room kicking the door off and starts punching Goldberg. Both men exchange rights and lefts. Austin and Goldberg fight all over the arena. Vince manages to get security and police to arrest Austin. Vince SUSPENDS AUSTIN!!! Vince SPITS in Austin’s face and says JUDGMENT DAY will be his.
Paul London def. Chavo Guerrero in a non-title match
**London dropkicks Chavo in his father Chavo Sr. and rolls him up into a victory roll for the HUGE upset win.
Garrison Cade & Mark Jindrak def. The Dudley Boyz in a TABLES MATCH

Edge def. Bradshaw to advance to the FINALS of the WHC tourney. RVD tossed a chair at Bradshaw and kicked it into his face while the ref was temporarily knocked out. Leading to an Edge spear and the victory. Some revenge from RVD from last week's assault by Bradshaw at the end of their tournament match.
Chris Benoit def. Matt Hardy after tapping out to the crossface
**Matt says he is tired of losing and being underappreciated. He says there's one man who can turn his career around……his BROTHER JEFF HARDY!!!! Jeff Hardy returns and joins Matt Hardy in the ring. Says the HARDY BOYZ ARE BACK and they are coming after the WWE Tag Team Titles!!!!
Kane who is located in some sort of fiery burning building laughs extends a challenge to the Undertaker for an Inferno Match for Judgment Day.
AJ Styles & Kurt Angle def. John Cena after Styles rolled up Cena and grabbed the tights the ref never saw Cena’s foot on the bottom rope and counted the three. Afterwards Angle locked in the ankle lock on a helpless John Cena. Angle lets go eventually and he and Styles taunt the US champion.

Jerry Lawler: "That's right, JR. We've got some of the biggest names in all of WWE here tonight, and the fans are amped to see all the action here tonight in good ol canada.
JR: "Absolutely, King. We've got Randy Orton defending his Intercontinental Championship against The Rock, and a six-man Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Championship featuring Eddie Guerrero, Big Show, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, and Booker T."
Jerry Lawler: "Oh boy, that Hell in a Cell match is going to be brutal. I can't wait to see what these six superstars have in store for us tonight."
As the lights dim, the sound of an engine revving up fills the arena, signaling the arrival of Lita. The crowd erupts into cheers as the motorcycle rider makes her way down the ramp, her long red hair flowing behind her. Lita climbs into the ring and raises her arms, greeting her fans with a smile.
As Lita's music fades away, the arena is plunged into darkness. Suddenly, a burst of red and black pyrotechnics illuminates the stage, revealing Victoria standing tall and menacing.
The champion stalks down the ramp, her eyes locked on her opponent. She climbs into the ring and stares down Lita, as the referee holds up the championship belt for all to see.
WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP VICTORIA [c] vs. LITA
The match begins with both wrestlers standing in the ring, staring each other down as the crowd is firmly behind Lita and the anticipation of this championship match. Both ladies circle one another for a few moments before locking up in a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Victoria gains the upper hand and forces Lita into the corner of the ring. The referee calls for a clean break, and Victoria obliges, backing away from Lita. As Lita emerges from the corner, Victoria charges towards her, looking to take her down with a clothesline. But Lita ducks under the clothesline matrix style and comes back and hits Victoria with a dropkick, sending her stumbling backwards. Lita follows up with a series of forearm shots to Victoria's chest and then whips her into the ropes. Victoria rebounds off the ropes and Lita goes for another dropkick, but Victoria manages to catch her legs and hold onto them, preventing Lita from executing the move. Victoria then catapults Lita into the turnbuckle chest first.
Victoria takes advantage of Lita's vulnerability and begins to target her legs, stomping on them and twisting them in painful submission holds. Lita tries to fight back, but Victoria is too strong and too skilled, keeping her opponent grounded. As Victoria continues to punish Lita's legs, the crowd begins to chant Lita's name, urging her on. Lita feeds off their energy and manages to kick Victoria away from her, creating some space between them. Lita tries to get to her feet, but her injured legs make it difficult and she crashes down to the mat below.
Victoria brings Lita to her feet and the two wrestlers lock up once again, and this time Lita gains the upper hand, hitting Victoria with a series of punches and kicks. Lita then whips Victoria into the ropes and goes for a hurricanrana, but Victoria counters it, catching Lita mid-move and slamming her onto the mat powerbomb style for a close two count. Victoria then picks up Lita and hits her with a scoop slam, following it up with a leg drop. She goes for another pin, but Lita kicks out again.
Victoria tries to wear down Lita with more submission holds and stomps on her legs, but Lita manages to fight back with a series of punches and kicks. Lita then climbs to the top rope and hits Victoria with a diving crossbody, sending both women crashing to the mat. Lita follows up with a series of clotheslines and a spinning heel kick, knocking Victoria down. Lita then climbs to the top rope once again and goes for a MOONSAULT, but Victoria moves out of the way causing Lita to crash and burn on the canvas as she clutches her back in pain. Victoria grabs Lita and hits the WIDOWS PEAK!!!! The champ pins Lita 1……………..2……………3NOOOOO Lita kicks out just in the knick of time.
Victoria goes for another Widow's Peak signaling the end for Lita, but Lita counters it into a roll-up pin attempt. Victoria kicks out at two, but as she gets up, Lita hits her with a DDT, stunning her. Lita then climbs to the top rope and hits Victoria with a moonsault, this time connecting perfectly. She goes for the pin, and the referee counts to three, declaring Lita the new Women's Champion!

MATT MORGAN vs. REY MYSTERIO
As the bell rang, Matt Morgan, utilizing his immense size and strength, took the initiative, stepping forward with a thunderous stride, aiming to assert dominance early on. Rey Mysterio, the agile underdog, swiftly countered, ducking under Morgan's reach and springing off the ropes with a lightning-fast dropkick, sending Morgan staggering back. As Matt Morgan staggered back from Rey Mysterio's swift dropkick, he regained his composure, shaking off the surprise attack. With a determined glare, Morgan charged forward, aiming to capitalize on his size advantage. However, Rey Mysterio anticipated his advance, sidestepping gracefully and using Morgan's momentum against him. With lightning speed, Mysterio executed a breathtaking headscissors takedown, flipping Morgan over and sending him crashing to the mat. Springing back to his feet with remarkable agility, Mysterio launched himself off the ropes, building momentum for his next move. With precision timing, he leaped into the air, going for a crossbody but Matt Morgan NAILED REY with a huge CLOTHESLINE nearly taking Mysterio's head off. Morgan yells as the fans boo. Morgan lifts Rey and brings him into the corner and just delivers right after right as Rey has no idea where he is. Now shoulders to the midsection of Rey.
As Matt Morgan prepared to deliver a clothesline, Rey suddenly mustered a burst of energy. With lightning speed and agility, Rey ducked under Morgan's outstretched arm, narrowly avoiding the devastating attack. Seizing the opportunity, Rey swiftly countered, delivering a series of rapid-fire kicks to Morgan's legs, targeting his vulnerable knees.Each kick found its mark with precision, causing Morgan to stagger backward, his imposing stature momentarily shaken. Rey continued to press his advantage, unleashing a flurry of strikes, aiming to weaken Morgan's base and diminish his power. With every blow, Rey chipped away at Morgan's defenses, drawing cheers from the crowd as he mounted a spirited comeback against the odds. Rey goes for a hurricanrana off the ropes but Morgan just holds onto Rey. Morgan nails a HUGE POWERBOMB!!! Morgan grabs Rey again off the mat and screams at his face before hitting a firemans carry facebuster and stands on Rey’s lifeless body 1…………..2………………3. Morgan wins pretty handily.

Afterward Matt Morgan gets his hands raised by the ref. But then focuses his attention on Rey Mysterio as he lifts Rey up and nails him with the carbon footprint (Boot to the face). Ric Flair meanwhile is watching ringside and can’t help but have a huge smile on his face.
JERICHO & STACY/CHRISTIAN & TRISH VIDEO PACKAGE
The lights in the arena dim as Jericho's entrance theme, "Break The Walls Down", begins to play. The fans erupt in cheers as Jericho steps out onto the stage, wearing his trademark sparkly jacket and flashing a confident smile. Jericho makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans along the way. As he enters the ring, he climbs up onto the turnbuckle and raises his arms, soaking in the cheers from the crowd.
Next, "Legs" by ZZ Top starts up as Stacy Keibler makes her entrance. She struts out onto the stage, showing off her long legs and blowing kisses to the crowd. Keibler struts down the ramp, high-fiving fans and winking at a few lucky ones. She hops up onto the apron and does a sexy dance before stepping through the ropes and joining Jericho in the ring.
The lights in the arena dim again as Christian's entrance music, "Just Close Your Eyes", begins to play. The fans boo loudly as Christian emerges from backstage and out to the stage. Christian struts down the ramp, sneering at the fans and shouting insults at them. He climbs up onto the apron and poses for the crowd before entering the ring.
Finally, "Time to Rock and Roll" by Lil' Kim hits the speakers as Trish Stratus makes her entrance. The fans boo even louder as she struts down the ramp, dressed in a revealing outfit that shows off her toned physique. Trish climbs up onto the apron and blows a kiss to Christian before entering the ring. The four wrestlers stare each other down as the referee signals for the bell to start the match.
CHRIS JERICHO & STACY KEIBLER vs. CHRISTIAN & TRISH STRATUS
The match begins with Chris Jericho and Christian in the ring, as their respective partners, Stacy Keibler and Trish Stratus, watch from the corners. Jericho and Christian exchange some trash talk getting nose to nose as this personal rivalry is just heating up. Both men lock up in a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Jericho gains the upper hand, taking Christian down to the mat with a wrist lock. Christian manages to reverse the hold, but Jericho kips up and takes Christian down again with a headlock. Christian gets to his feet and tries to push Jericho off, but Jericho holds on, wrenching Christian's head and neck. After a few moments of struggling, Christian manages to push Jericho off and tag in Trish Stratus. Stacy Keibler also tags in, and the two women circle each other warily before locking up. Trish gains the upper hand, forcing Stacy into the corner and hitting her with a series of punches and kicks. Trish then whips Stacy into the opposite corner and charges towards her, but Stacy manages to dodge out of the way, causing Trish to hit the turnbuckle hard. Stacy takes advantage of Trish's momentary daze and hits her with a bulldog, following it up with an elbow drop. Stacy goes for the pin, but Trish kicks out at two. Stacy then tries to keep Trish grounded with a headlock, but Trish manages to fight her way out of it, hitting Stacy with a back elbow and a clothesline.
As Trish tries to mount a comeback, Christian tags himself back in and takes on Chris Jericho once again. Christian manages to gain the upper hand, hitting Jericho with a series of punches and kicks. He whips Jericho into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Jericho ducks under it and hits Christian with a spinning heel kick right to the jaw of captain charisma.
Jericho then climbs to the top rope and hits Christian with a diving elbow drop, going for the pin. Christian kicks out at two, and the match continues. Jericho continues to wear down Christian with a series of submission holds and strikes. However, Christian manages to tag in Trish Stratus, who takes on Stacy Keibler.
Trish dominates much of the match against Stacy, using her superior grappling skills to keep her opponent grounded. Trish hits Stacy with a snap suplex and follows it up with a series of elbow drops. As Trish goes for a pin attempt, Jericho runs in to break it up. Christian also enters the ring to take on Jericho, and chaos ensues. The two men brawl while Stacy and Trish continue to fight.
In the end, Jericho gets the hot tag as well as Christian, Jericho goes for an enziguri to Christian but Jericho accidentally kicks Trish square in the face. Trish goes down as Jericho looks guilty and checks on Trish but Christian capitalizes and goes for the unprettier but Jericho shoves Christian off right into a SUPERKICK by STACY!!! Jericho hits Christian with a LIONSAULT for the 3 count and the win.

First up is Randy Orton, making his way to the ring to the sound of his theme song "Burn in My Light". The arena is bathed in a red hue as Orton strides confidently down the ramp, his long blonde hair flowing behind him.
He's wearing black wrestling trunks with a silver tribal design on the sides, along with matching knee pads and boots. As he approaches the ring, he slides under the bottom rope and stands up, looking out at the sea of fans.
Orton then climbs the turnbuckle and raises his arms in triumph, eliciting a massive heat reaction from the crowd . He then hops down from the turnbuckle and awaits the arrival of his opponent.
Next up is The Rock, who's met with a thunderous ovation from the crowd as his iconic theme song "If You Smell What The Rock Is Cooking" blasts through the speakers. The Rock appears on the entrance ramp, donning his trademark black trunks, elbow pads, and boots.
He pauses for a moment, soaking in the cheers from the crowd, before striding down the ramp towards the ring. The Rock is all business as he enters the ring and climbs the turnbuckle, throwing up his signature "People's Eyebrow" to the delight of the crowd.
He then hops down from the turnbuckle and locks eyes with Orton, a look of steely determination on his face. The two wrestlers square off in the center of the ring, both looking ready to give it their all in what promises to be an epic showdown.
TITLE vs. CAREER RANDY ORTON vs. THE ROCK
The first of 2 HUGE MAIN EVENTS of Backlash. The Great One, The Rock taking on the Legend Killer, Randy Orton. First time these two have met one on one. The referee signals for the bell, and the match begins. The Rock starts off strong, with a series of quick jabs and a powerful clothesline that sends Orton crashing to the mat. But Orton quickly recovers, and the two men engage in a fierce back-and-forth battle. Orton manages to gain the upper hand by delivering a series of devastating kicks to The Rock's midsection. The Great One fights back with a spinebuster and a People's Elbow, but Orton kicks out just in time. The match continues with both men trading blows and trying to gain the upper hand. The Rock hits a DDT, but Orton kicks out again. Orton responds with a dropkick and a powerslam, but The Rock refuses to stay down. Orton attempts to hit The Rock with his signature RKO, but The Rock manages to counter with a spinebuster. The crowd erupts with excitement as The Rock follows up with a sharpshooter. Orton screams in agony as The Rock wrenches his back in the hold, but the second generation superstar Randy Orton refuses to give up. He manages to crawl to the ropes and grab hold, forcing the referee to break the hold. The Rock pulls Orton back to the center of the ring and attempts to hit him with a Rock Bottom. But Orton manages to counter with a backbreaker, stunning The Rock. Orton seizes the opportunity and climbs to the top rope, ready to hit The Rock with a flying elbow drop. But The Rock manages to recover in time, leaping to his feet and catching Orton in midair with a thunderous spinebuster. The crowd roars with approval as The Rock sets up for his finishing move once again, this time hitting Orton with a Rock Bottom that sends him crashing to the mat. The Rock pins Orton, but Orton kicks out at the last possible moment. The Rock looks frustrated but determined, knowing that he's come too far to let this opportunity slip away. He picks Orton up and sets him up for another Rock Bottom, but Orton manages to counter with a picture-perfect RKO out of nowhere. The crowd gasps in shock as Orton covers The Rock, looking for the victory. But The Rock somehow manages to kick out at the last possible moment, much to the relief of his fans in the arena. Orton looks stunned, unable to believe that The Rock is still in the match. Orton stomps on the Rock several times looking to wear down the Great one. Orton taunts the Rock and waits for him to get to his feet. He goes for a clothesline but the Rock ducks and Orton hits the ref instead. The ref is knocked out, The Rock hits a huge clothesline of his own to Orton. Both men are down again. Meanwhile, Ric Flair comes down to the ring and grabs the Intercontinental Championship and slides it to Orton who is still recovering. The ref is groggy as this is going on. Orton grabs the title and goes to hit the Rock with it but the Rock HITS A ROCK BOTTOM!!!! Flair gets on the apron and the Rock proceeds to knock him off with a right hand. The Rock hits a people’s elbow to Orton and covers 1………………2……………….3!!!!!

The Rock stands tall in the center of the ring, holding the Intercontinental Championship high above his head. The crowd roars with approval, chanting his name as he basks in the glory of his victory.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS La Resistance vs. World's Greatest Tag Team
As the referee signaled for the bell to start the match, it was Sylvain Grenier of La Résistance and Shelton Benjamin who stepped into the ring as the legal competitors for their teams. The French-Canadian powerhouse and the "Gold Standard" locked eyes, each eager to gain the upper hand for their respective team. With a sudden burst of speed and agility, Shelton Benjamin surged forward, aiming to take control of the match early on. Demonstrating his lightning-fast reflexes, Benjamin dodged a wild swing from Grenier and countered with a lightning-quick arm drag takedown, sending Grenier crashing to the mat. As Sylvain Grenier scrambled back to his feet, shaken by Shelton Benjamin's impressive arm drag takedown, he quickly regained his composure, determined not to let La Résistance fall behind early in the match. With a fierce glare, Grenier charged back at Benjamin, looking to regain control for his team. Anticipating Grenier's counterattack, Shelton Benjamin prepared himself, bracing for the impact. But Grenier, known for his cunning in the ring, feinted to the side at the last moment, catching Benjamin off guard. With lightning speed, Grenier grabbed hold of Benjamin's arm and whipped him into the ropes with tremendous force.
As Benjamin rebounded off the ropes, Grenier lunged forward, aiming to take him down with a powerful clothesline. However, Benjamin's agility came into play once again as he executed a perfectly timed leapfrog, soaring over Grenier's oncoming attack. The crowd erupted into cheers at Benjamin's impressive display of athleticism, marveling at his ability to evade Grenier's onslaught. With Grenier momentarily off balance, Benjamin capitalized on the opportunity, springing off the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. With precise timing, Benjamin launched himself into the air, connecting with a stunning dropkick that sent Grenier staggering backward, reeling from the impact. As the match progressed, Sylvain Grenier and René Duprée of La Résistance employed a combination of quick tags and double-team maneuvers to wear down Shelton Benjamin, isolating him from his partner Charlie Haas. With the fresh Haas now legal, the momentum shifted in favor of Benjamin and Haas as they unleashed a barrage of high-impact moves on La Résistance. Haas showcased his technical prowess, locking in submission holds and executing suplexes with precision, while Benjamin dazzled the crowd with his breathtaking aerial maneuvers. But just when it seemed like Benjamin and Haas were on the verge of victory, La Résistance fought back with renewed vigor. Duprée and Grenier rallied, unleashing their trademark double-team tactics to regain control of the match. With smiles of satisfaction, Duprée and Grenier proudly hoisted the gleaming championship belts high above their heads, the gold reflecting the bright lights of the arena. The crowd erupted into boos as La Résistance celebrated their hard-fought win and their reclaiming of the tag team titles. Haas and Benjamin look on in disappointment.
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP HIAC VIDEO PACKAGE
The arena goes dark as the sound of thunder fills the air, followed by the opening chords of "The Game" by Motorhead. The crowd erupts in boos as Triple H, one of the most hated men in WWE history, makes his way down to the ring.
Next up is Booker T, with his signature pyrotechnics and music playing. The crowd cheers loudly as the five-time WCW Champion enters the arena, looking focused and determined to win the match and his first WWE Championship.
Shawn Michaels is up next, with his signature entrance music, "Sexy Boy," blaring over the loudspeakers. The crowd erupts in cheers as the legendary Heartbreak Kid makes his way to the ring, looking as confident and cocky as ever.
Brock Lesnar is next as “Next Big Thing” blasts over the sound system. The crowd is mixed in their reaction to the Beast Incarnate, with some booing and some cheering as he enters the ring.
The Big Show is up next, with his larger-than-life persona and intimidating presence filling the arena. The crowd is both awed and scared as the giant of a man makes his way down to the ring.
Finally, the WWE Champion, Eddie Guerrero, enters last to a huge pop from the crowd. "Latino Heat" by Jim Johnston plays as Eddie struts down the ramp, holding up his championship belt and soaking in the cheers from the fans.
As Eddie enters the ring, the other five men stare him down, knowing that they will have to go through him if they want to leave as the new WWE Champion. The tension in the air is palpable, as the six competitors prepare to do battle inside the demonic structure known as Hell in a Cell.
6-MAN HELL IN A CELL MATCH
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP EDDIE GUERRERO [c] vs. TRIPLE H vs. BROCK LESNAR vs. SHAWN MICHAELS vs. BOOKER T vs. THE BIG SHOW
It’s main event time as these 6 men know how important this match is. In the most dangerous structure for the biggest prize in sports entertainment. All 6 men stare each other down as the bell rings. Ding Ding Ding and the match is underway as immediately they pair off Triple H going after HBK, Lesnar going after Guerrero and Big Show and Booker T exchanging blows. Eventually it's just Lesnar and Guerrero in the ring at the same time as the other pairs fight on the outside of the ring near the structure. Lesnar takes down Guerrero with a few German Suplexes. Meanwhile Triple H throws Michaels into the steel structure and Big Show throws Booker T into the steel steps causing a huge echo throughout the arena here in Phoenix. Later on in the matchup, Shawn Michaels gets busted open with a sledgehammer by Triple H. Eddie Guerrero also got busted open after Lesnar used a chain. At this stage of the matchup every man is battered and beaten to a pulp as the crowd is loving it. Each man wanting to hold the WWE Championship high in the air after this match. HHH attempts to hit Booker T with the hammer but Booker kicks Triple H in the face hard. Booker grabs the hammer himself and HITS TRIPLE H. This causes Triple H to bleed. Michaels drags Triple H outside of the ring and slams his skull against the solid steel. In the ring Brock Lesnar and Big Show come to blows as Show hits a devastating chokeslam to Brock and pins for a close 2 count as Booker breaks it up. Booker goes for a scissors kick to Show but Show grabs Booker for a chokeslam but HBK hits Show with the Sweet chin music. HBK kicks Booker T as well. Michaels pins both Show and Booker T on separate occasions but get a 2 count each time. Later in the match, Big Show SPEARS MICHAELS THREW THE CELL DOOR!!!! The action spills to the timekeeper's area as Booker hits Lesnar with the ring bell. Eddie hits Booker with a steel chair and then hits Lesnar and then hits Triple H. Big Show shoves Michaels aside as Eddie and Show go at it now and exchange rights. Big Show CHOKESLAMS EDDIE on the roof of the cell and it doesn’t break. Big Show heads down from the cell and Booker T follows. HBK goes to sweet chin music Lesnar but Lesnar GRABS HBK and hits an F-5 ON TOP OF THE CELL AND THE CELL ROOF BREAKS THIS TIME causing HBK TO CRASH TO THE MAT!!!!!! Medics rush in to check on HBK as he gets carried off as the other 5 men manage to make it to the ring. Big Show goes for the final cut leg drop to Booker T but Booker escapes and hits a scissors kick to Big Show. Triple H kicks Booker T and hits him with a PEDIGREE!!!! After the match the cell rises as Eddie Guerrero’s music plays as all 6 men are down and out as we just witnessed 30 minutes of pure mayhem. The WWE title is given to Guerrero as he raises it from his knees. Views of each of the other 5 men’s faces are shown as blood was shed but in the end Guerrero sneaks away with the title.
