BE THE BOOKER SECTION RULES

One BTB a month:

The first and most important rule is pretty self explanatory; you can only have one BTB, and once you are finished with that for whatever reason it may be, you have to wait one month before starting a new BTB. There are no exceptions to this rule, so you can’t have two BTB’s with one being single and one being partnered; only one BTB. It doesn’t get much simpler, and if you do break this rule, the thread will be closed until the thirty days are up, and if you have two BTB’s, you have the opportunity to choose which BTB you write, but there are to be no two BTBs written at the same time.

PPVs to be posted in one part:

In the past, PPVs have been posted in two and sometimes three parts, but from now on, the only exception to this rule is if the show is too large for the one post, which you should state at the start or end of the second post. The ‘drama and suspense’ factor complete and utter shit and it is an unnecessary bump for the thread. Clearly label that the post was too big for the one post, or the posts will be merged. Simple, really.

Reviewing:

The old method of Best Match/Worst Match was the lazy way out and wasn’t a help at all, and anyone who denies that is delusional tbh. So, as has been the case for the past couple of months, but it needs to be pointed out, comments on each part of the show are required. Flaming and asking for reviews is unacceptable, which leads onto the next two points.

Flaming:

Constructive criticism is of course welcomed, but only if it is helpful and not issued in a flaming way. If there is a flaming post, it will quite simple be deleted and a warning will be issued. Also, if you are dealt constructive criticism, there is no reason to retaliate, as after all, if it is criticism, they’re just trying to help.

Cheap Plugs:

Although it hasn’t been done too many times in the past few months, just like the old review system, cheap plugs are on the way out. For those who don’t know, ‘cheap plugs’ are writing in a review ‘RAW is posted in my thread. Check it out’. The posts will simply be edited; JMay made the advertisement thread for a reason. Use it.

Chatroom:

The Chatroom is not to be used for advertising purposes. This is where you bookers can share your thoughts on certain storylines, or share queries on plans for the future. This thread is not to be used for things such as ‘Hey, I started a Cena and Orton feud in my thread _______, check it out and tell me what you think!’, as this thread is to be used for questions only, such as ‘Do you think a tag team consisting of Elijah Burke and MVP will work?’.

BTB Lounge:

This is where the nominations for any future awards will be posted, as well as any columns/tournaments. A partner request thread may be added in the Chatroom in the future, but for now, if you want a new partner, simply create a new thread and ask. It is not to be posted in the regular BTB section for threads, but rather in the lounge.

Bumping:

Also quite simple. Don’t make a post asking for reviews, use the advertisement thread to say your new show is up. Also, there is to be no posting a preview and posting the show an hour later, nor ‘Thanks for the comments man, appreciated.’ Posts like this will be deleted.

Deceased Wrestlers:

There are to be no modern day threads with the inclusion of Eddie Guerrero, Umaga etc. If you want to use Eddie, go ahead and make a thread {oshit poetry} which is based after No Mercy in 2005. Also, if you do not wish to use the likes of Chris Benoit for obvious reasons if starting a thread after WrestleMania 23, then that is quite obviously fine.

No E-Feds:

The most simple there is. There’s an E-Fed section for a reason.

And the last two rules, which are my personal favourites.

Enjoy:
Woot.

AND~!

As per popular demand;
NO GARDS~!

K, maybe not >_>.

3. Multi-Show posting

Another new rule is that posting shows in multiple posts will not be accepted. Post your show as one, again if not I will use my power as a moderator to make it into one post and if it persists, warning points will be dished out.

Although Double posting would be acceptable here if you post a RAW and a Smackdown! one after the other

My Mania earlier in the year was too big for the one post. Is that counted as an exception?

I think that you should change the Multi Show posting rule and allow a part one and a part two for Pay per views only.

Just a thought.

Well... It's how many of the big btbs were successful. They posted an awesome part 1 that was huge and posted a part 2 for suspense and a break from the PPV, but still keeping the thread active.

It should be an option... An exception if you would...

What is the point of that option? If the reader wanted to wait to read the second half, they could. Adding a SUSPENSEFUL BREAK~ is just an arbitrary addition for the sake of an addition.

I agree with Axis.

However, if you want to post a PPV like that, than that's okay with me. Anything that would help your PPV be better is okay with me.

RULES HAVE BEEN UPDATED.

I think alot of times people posted in two parts because the shows would have been a pain in the ass to read all at one time. Just look at my Chaos Cup.

Even if you post it in one post, it doesn't necessarily mean you have to read it all at the one time.

Sometimes when I'm posting shows they don't load properly and I have to post in two parts. If this happens, would I be able to PM the mod and ask for the posts to be merged?

And PPVs in two parts are silly, it's just asking for people to review the first half and then forget that the show even exists.
