Bayley's Next Opponent?

They dont always do that. You've just given one example. They can overcomplicate for sure though. I feel like Bayley and Charlotte have such juxtaposing characters that the story is already there. Also we have a 4 week build for summerslam not 3 months. Wwe just had to much time to fill for that main event. Unnecessary and overcomplicated booking is always a risk. I dont even know what to think of Eric on smackdown yet.

Yeah, Eric is a huge unknown, seeing as its been confirmed that hes watched and knows so little about the current product, and present day wrestleing as a whole, that its worse then anyone thought...so its allmost impossible to predict how good he will do on tuesday.

I think it can work, im just not certain they will do it right, another example would be roman reigns, there were so many moments where him turning heel and getting over huge just writes itself, like after he beat undertaker, the heat was insane, that would have been the time and Vince didnt take it, or the royal rumble where he won wouldve been another great oppertunity.

I just feel like WWE gets these moments, golden oppertunitys handed to them and they just waste it, look at when Bray first debuted as the wyatt family on Raw, he was one of the biggest stars in the company and we all loved him, and what did they do with this huge new star that got over day 1 based on hype alone from video packages? he lost, and lost, and lost until he lost all credibility. And then at Wrestlemania, him vs Cena, Cena didnt need the win, bray did, and still john Cena won.

Or Wrestlemania 31, Sting vs Undertaker, that story writes itself too and instead we got Sting vs Triple H and Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt, and bray ofcourse had to lose because you cant make taker lose 2 WrestleManias in a row.

Those are just off the top of my head, as far as examples of stories that just write themselves that they screwed up with.

I think the story has to start first for it to write itself. Taker vs Sting was never even foreshadowed. Huge shame. Wrestlemania 31 was great but the stories building up to it wasnt. Orton vs Rollins was the only one that made sense and was somewhat good.

The winners and losers of fueds could ruin a well built story.

If say, Charlotte beats Bayley for the title at summerslam then that would suck. Even if it had a good story going in.

Wwe screw up storylines alot. But theres nothing about Charlotte vs Bayley that makes me think it has the potential to fall victim to terrible booking any more then Bayley vs Sasha or Bayley vs Alexa.

I would say Charlotte vs Bayley is the safest match they could do. Less chance of screwing up. Just imagining how terrible sasha and Alexa have been booked in the past, especially being paired up with Bayley.

(Atleast to me they couldnt even keep bayley consistent! multiple times over the last few weeks she acted like a total heel! like when Alexa and Nikki were trying to become tag team champions or contenders or something, and Bayley in a TOTALLY heel move, interfered and costed Alexa and Nikki the oppertunity, thats a heel move! not to mention bayleys attitude to Nikkis been heelish too at times..Its seriously seems like Alexa and Nikki are the faces and Bayley si the heel. Dont get me wrong im all for heel bayley, but doing it this way just doesnt seem right, like they dont know what way to go.)

I know i know Alexa is supposed to be the heel, and thats the route they are going...surely...but man it just doesnt feel that way, every week it seems more and more like the roles are legit reversed, maybe thats just me.

I think the Alexa and Nikki story is absolutely terrible storytelling. Woeful. Worst in wwe atm. They dragged Bayley into the story. Really bad stuff. I do think that everything Bayley has done has been justified. I think both nikki and Alexa are insufferable and deserve misfortune. Nikki is just stupid for believing Alexa and deserves to get pissed on. Either way I dont think anyone is cheering Bayley for trying to shed light. Atleast Bayley has been booked as a strong champ

The route they going is so unclear to me. Everyone is saying Alexa is using nikki. It makes total sense for Alexa to do that. But then we see reason to believe that they have genuine freindship. Alexa is such an inconsistent character so I'm not surprised in the total uncertainty in the storyline.
