I don’t think Guilty Pleasure means unpopular.

I lot of people consider popular things guilty pleasures.

Especially television shows and movies.

Cool is subjective so it usually boils down to self perception.

I used to shy away from liking shows like The Vampires Diaries before realizing how large it’s fan base really is, but I’d probably still include it on a guilty pleasures list if I had to make one.
