Well pop is extremely broad tbf and some K Pop I've heard is more creative than others... just like American pop is and I'm sure British as well but yeah it's just Korean pop musicso K-Pop is just Pop Music - either in Korean or Mixed Language? I assumed it was just something else, other than pop
Why would you? K-Pop literally means Korean Pop Music. No different from American Pop Music, British Pop Music or Britt Pop as it is called, J-Pop or Japanese Pop Music, and so on. The common languages spoken are Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and of course American.so K-Pop is just Pop Music - either in Korean or Mixed Language? I assumed it was just something else, other than pop
lol. It just means Korean popular music. That’s it. Very simplePut it this way, if an American artist just copied a K Pop song beat for beat and line by line, we'd just call it Pop
I'm sure if you listen to enough K Pop you'll start to notice things pretty specific to the artists of the region, as you do with literally any other genre that has a "scene". But yeah idk how much more needs to be said about it. think everyone is on the same pageWas just clarifying really. Coz like Britpop - is actually like that altrock indie thing. So I just assumed it was something alternative.
