If we had an award for greatest fisher here, it would be Sabs. Man tosses his bait out and gets so many bites. :lol

Anyway, another great song even like this version

The thing I love about country music, is it tells a story. At least most of it does. So many country songs can be turned into a movie. But I understand it’s not for everyone. Which is cool and fine with me. But yeah that’s the reason I love it. I love a good story song.

Another good one

I don't wanna make this a genre vs. genre thing by any means but I do wanna point out that story telling is not exclusive to country. If anything, it's omnipresent in music. Just like mindless songs about nothing exist in all genres. I just feel we should all keep that in perspective. :lol

Oh for sure, I wasn’t say there wasn’t. Just a lot of those stories to me personally wouldn’t make a great movie or something I would care to see. Maybe others would, and that’s cool. I just wanted to point out why I love it

I also wanted to mention earlier that an interesting line I draw with country is that I really don't fuck with somber country but I love crying in your beer country.

All jokes aside I think for me personally its justa genre that i cannot demographically relate with so its always been one of those " i dont really get it" types of genre for me. I like some song esp more on the rock or folk side but esp newer stuff I feel lost on. was still a lot of fun to check out some songs and some i did dig

Tbh country is the genre I listen to least even though I like it lol. Like I definitely enjoy country music and WILL listen to it but it’s not my go to.

I totally understand that. Yeah if you can’t relate to a lot of it, it’s harder to really understand or get into it for sure. 100%.

As far as the newer shit goes. Oh god most of its horrible. If you want good country music that’s new, gotta find independent artist. See some amazing people on tiktok or YouTube.
