That just seemed like that his style in those early albums, but yeah, fair enough. I see that.

TBH, that’s kinda why I fell off with Em. I enjoyed the first two albums joking tone that felt missing later.

damn we about to start a whole Eminem discussion Lmao. The Marshall Mathers LP was mostly dark songs. The real slim shady was only written cause the record company wanted him to have a radio friendly song as the lead single. But I can’t believe you’d sleep on the Eminem show. That album was a masterpiece.

i just find it funny that Sabs started an argument centered around not winning by a larger margin smh

I think it's funnier that there's an argument happening at all.
To be fair, I only think one person was really arguing and then just others having a discussion.

I agree it was dark, too. I grew up on that album. I loved it.

But it was also macabre humor in it’s darkness.

The funny thing is I thought Sabs was just bantering when he made his first message that everyone got so mad about :slip:

You see the best in people.

To be fair, you’re probably right, though.

The argument was later about whether it was comedy or not, his first message about not winning by more was def joking tho lol

I wasn’t arguing but rather making a point. People saying Slim Shady isn’t a comedy song is simply wrong. We already proved it’s listed under the “comedy hip hop” genre which is defined as hip hop that’s supposed to be funny. Idk what else you need. I was pointing out a fact lol.
