This is a good debate actually Lmao because to me it wouldn’t. I feel like if you just listen to 90s rappers who make music today that’s not even close to the same thing as listening to new artists because music from new artists usually sound quite different.
If the topic was "hip hop songs released after 2009" it would still count though lol artists sound vastly different yes, some old guys still sound similar to how they sounded before, some have changed it up, some new artists try and bring back old sounds
