He has is some kind of tent pole going for a match with HHH for some reason, so it seems unlikely.

I honestly wouldn't really care about that match...
but at least it wouldn't impact the full time guys.
At full time? I'd give him 18 months tops. Part time? he could stretch it out a lot longer if he stays healthy and still would be able to do movies. If Lesnar/Cena from my recent readings is a go at the Rumble add Batista in it...add some intrigue to it...or it'll be probably another squash match one on one. He doesn't have to win, just come close, and add some fuckery near the end of the match and set up a Mania angle for Batista and Mr.X(Strowman..)
Heel Batista for a few months on both raw and smackdown would be cool. He could just randomly target up and coming stars like Balor, Nakamura, and Styles.
Imagine a heel Batista vs Styles. It would be fun I think. It can all accumulate to him crossing paths with triple h and battling him one last time, but I think he should face other talents and randomly show up on each show and be seen as a badass, brutal heel.
Conclude this with him fighting Triple h at summerslam or something, it could be a great run.

Yeah and they’ll prob have him dominate all the young talent and beat triple h in his retirement match. That’s WWE booking.
I think not, sure he will have to beat a few guys to get over but I think he will also put some new talent over eventually...
Batista's certainly not the performer that he used to be, but his heel runs are usually good, so for that reason alone, I guess I wouldn't mind him back for one more run and a program with HHH, if that's what he truly wants.

I need Big Dave and The Big Dog to be a tag team where their finish is Batista lifting a dude up for the Batista Bomb, but Reigns jumps from the turnbuckle for a Spear.
I also want to see Batista in the 205 Live roster. That'd make me finally watch the show.

Ya know.... The more I think about it, the more I agree..... As interesting as it sounds, I really cant picture those two getting along, especially as Tag Team.
