Im saying you cant not believe one and then just believe another.
Ok, then let's really think about this.

News report that Chris Harris is unhappy with his current push.
Chris Harris on the following iMPACT!: My talent is being wasted! Now you want me to fight some blood spitting freak? WHERE IS MY TITLE SHOT?! Also the catering here sucks! I hate it here and I hate you, Cornette!

News report that Traci Brooks is very arrogant and stuck up backstage due to her being there the longest.
Gail Kim on the following iMPACT!: What, Traci, you think just because you've been here the longest you can talk trash to all of us?!
Traci: Yes!
Gail: Step off!

Virtually every report on TNA's backstage problems have turned out to be a setup for an actual storyline to be appearing on the show. Is it so unbelievable to suspect that this is just another one of those? I think not.

As I said, just because you see it on TV, does NOT MAKE IT REAL!! Vince didnt really blow up, Vince isnt really hurt right now. Im not saying it cant happen, but youre saying it always does, "If a report comes out and something on TV happens that references it, well its real" thats just dumb.

He never said that Kaedon, stop twisting people's words. Why did you even bring this up in this thread anyway? Admit it, you don't like RLFB and you're using your mod power to start arguements in countless threads.

This thread isn't about Carlito or comparing people's opinions of WWE to TNA. RLFB has a valid point, as sure do you, but if you actually did it in a polite and mature way it might be a start so that people could see past your shouty offensive posts and to the point you're actually trying to make.

Now... maybe we should get this back ON-TOPIC... a job a moderator should be doing eh?

I was saying he cant question this report if he doesnt question every other one, which he clearly doesnt. If their is a news report about HHH, Carlito, or in any way making the WWE look bad, he believes it. Now suddenly a WRESTLER who TALKS TO BOOKER says something and "its questionable". Im trying to get the logic. This is a DISCUSSION FORUM, I am DISCUSSING. If you dont like it, dont participte.

No Kaedon, i'm saying because it appears on tv, it's NOT real. That was my whole point. I question the validity of this report due to virtually every other backstage problem report being just a false setup for a televised storyline. And thanks, Gashface. Glad somebody here wants to keep the topic on track. This will be my last post not pertaining to post #1 of this topic.

I wasn't saying you shouldn't discuss things, I'm saying the manor in which you do them is often offensive and personal. Like calling people dumb, and patronising them by explaining that wrestling isn't real, as if RLFB doesn't know that... and he NEVER said that, he was giving other examples of when TNA rumours have turned out to be on screen esembles, that is all. Now if you could provide evidence of other TNA rumors that have not been, and WWE rumors that have been - that would be a good way to take the topic futher forward for discussion...

Just my two cents like.

But you were 100% behind the "reports" about Carlito, how he is being misused and all that. So why not this one? And gashface, I dont really give a fuck about what you or anyone else think about what I say or how I conduct myself. Those are my two cents

^ oh my god....

Dude, its not that hard to understand. What Roxxi is trying to say, is that all the reports about TNA Wrestlers not being happy, eventually turned into a storyline on iMPACT! The Samoa Joe contract thing and Chris Harris being unhappy all turned into their respective gimmicks for at least a few months. What that does, is make the news report seem fake because they basically took a storyline that TNA had planned and made it seem real by "reporting" it on the news site. The reason he isn't saying Carlito's news is fake is because first of all, Carlito bashed Trips which is obviously the wrong thing to do, and also it hasn't turned into a storyline on TV. We don't see Carlito going out to the ring and cutting a promo on being unhappy in WWE. While in TNA, we had Chris Harris complaining about Kurt Angle getting more TV time than him, and Samoa Joe demanding a new contract

You seem to turn the argument into one that is about whether wrestling is real or not, or the fact that Roxxi is trying to defend TNA...and that completely misses the point

^Ok i think that was the whole point about this controversy. Now its clear for everyone. Thanks Chessarmy.
And Kaedon is not modding this section anyway, so there is no need to bash his moderation.

But you arent getting what Im saying. He is saying "because it was in a report and is used for fodder for a storyline, its suspect" which is a silly statement. And just because someone does a "shoot" in a newspaper. How do you know Carlito wasnt working us and how do you know Batista is working us here? Thats my whole point, you cant believe certain ones and disreguard others because they go with your world view.

^ Because these things are never works in WWE but almost always works in TNA. It's the logical conclusion.

And Wrestling Station, I believe that a moderator should be a model poster, one that new members should follow by example. Just because he doesn't moderate this section doesn't mean he should be able to pick fights constantly and mouth off to people who tell him to stay on topic. He's a STAFF MEMBER for christ's sake, he should be telling MEMBERS to stay on topic, not the other way around. In my world, regular members shouldn't have to tell the staff to stay on topic.

Well the report also says all Booker T does is play video games backstage. Doesn't necessarily mean he's going to be seen playing Halo 3 with Jeremy Borash on Impact.

You know I'm starting to hate wrestling 'news' sites. They've sort of ruined the dramatic element of storylines and wrestling. Yes, the storylines are scripted, but when was the last time you watched a match or angle and forgot it was scripted and got lost in the action?

Well I guess you wont let yourself be a mod because you arent staying on topic. :schnauz:

Anyway, would you like me to go down the list of "shoot interviews" outside the WWE label were used to further a storyline?

Wrestling always uses real life situations as the basis for storylines (Hassan's terrorist gimmick for example). It's easier for storylines to sell if they're some real life heat behind them.
