GET YOUR COLLECTIVE HEADS OUT OF ORTON'S ASS!!

That wasn't a good match. The last 5 minutes were good, but the rest of the match was your typical Orton borefest. A lot of restholds and crap submissions that had NOTHING to do with the finish.

I agree... Batista and Orton in the same match is bound to be terrible, their styles simply don't compliment each other. It had a really good story to it, but.. that's all it had. And I really believe this would count as a bigger waste than Batista vs. Cena.

This was too little, too late. Maybe it would've worked in 2005, but now, the whole Evolution thing is old and forgotten.

Heaven forbid Orton try to wear down the bigger man! It doesn't matter how ON TEH EDGE OF YUR SEAT~! you were. The psychology of the match is what one man would do in a real fight. In a real fight, trying to take the breath out of the bigger man would be a very solid plan.

Was the match great? No. But that's because Batista is no longer a convincing monster face.

The match was ***** simply for the fact it involved 'Tista.

Eh.. after watching the match, have to say it wasn't that bad. I admit maybe one too many holds, but also like SP said, the last 5 minutes+ were good.

They should've held it off for longer, waited for The Legacy to get into full-swing. Would've added a whole lot more to the feud imo.

...Well, in light of this week's Raw, it looks like it'll be continuing, but seriously, shouldn't we get all the flakey tag matches and beatdowns BEFORE the big showdown? : o/

It might seem a bit off but lately WWE's been doing some in a way been doing things that in kayfabe are predictable but you wouldn't expect in reality. Could they make Batista be the leader of a stable and take on The Legacy? It might sound a bit off but does anyone see it as a possibility?

It's possible, but I don't see it as a permanent stable, once The Legacy vs Tista feud subsides it would dissolve.

The obvious alliance against a fully-operational Legacy (i.e 4 men) would be to book them against Cena/Batista handicap stylee.....

Oooops! WWE shot that load prematurely too.

Some randomly picked Batista faction would be horrible. How's he gonna lead a group when he's so shit on the mic?

Pure speculation, but if that were to happen, my guess is that it'd be Batista/Rey/Boorne/Kofi

They'll lose than repeatedly ask for re-matches, RAWRRR, whilst The Legacy show them what they can do to basketballs.

After a few weeks though I suspect, unlike Batista, they'll start to repeat themselves.

They could've easily used Khali, the battle of words between he, Batista and the basketball would've been epic.

Sad thing is, the basketball and Khali would probably be more entertaining.
