Man late WCW Nash took a real nosedive for me. By this point, I got no interest in the guy.
He was honestly so trash but I hate saying that bc I have a high opinion of Nash overall :pour The INsiders were fun at least

Russo has booked more trash than good angles. I don't know why people would defend his style. He fucked a lot of TNA up too (Thread reply)
Oh I agree somewhat, he had his bad moments...but that promo was 100% true.

I still love Nash, but WCW politicking between him and Hall and the office killed his love for the work. He also loved booking and WCW took the book from him and that made him apathetic as well.

But anyway yeah, that shoot was the best thing Russo ever did on screen by far, I never liked his onscreen character...I'd argue he was a better booker

You'd think I'm a huge Hogan mark with how hard I push him in TEW, But I honestly con't care about him.

Russo was a better booker than he was an on-screen character, and that tells you the level of his character work

I'm not a fan of WCW Hogan at all tbh, he was needed for the nWo angle for his name value and the big heel turn and all but man he really fuckin' sucked other than a good promo that got some awesome heat here or there but he was still super fuckin' cheesy most of the time

I liked his character because he gained heat, but he was definitely a better booker. I think had Russo worked under Bischoff and had some structure to work with, it could have worked out better. He just shouldn't have left WWF. Perfect match.

The biggest thing is WCW wouldn't keep the same booker for more than a few months regardless of who it was or how bad they were :lmao you need some kind of consistency

I'm not a fan of Hogan either, but man drew money and honestly he had the It factor. I could put on any Hogan entrance in 1997 and I'm sucked right in. I'd have let him go back to WWF after 1998, though.
