In the instance of Ric Flair, there's plausible deniability by WWE that it even happened, however them settling out of court, Goldust's sexual assault allegation, and knowing Ric Flair was a raging alcoholic at the time and may have been drunk off his tits at the time... he probably did it and doesn't remember it.

One witness says he didn't see the act specifically but was probably intoxicated as others were.
Another denies it but is known for sexual harassment himself
A third was never even on the plane when it happened.

Even in the court of criminal law, that would probably have him found not guilty, but in a civil case the preponderance of the evidence probably sees him and WWE put through the wringer.

good post and analysis

I think Barry is town guys :garrett

People keep conflating all the other shit happening and that one part where's they're only denying the forced groping. He did the flashing and helicopter shit, Dustin probably did his thing, too, Curt and Brock fought in the aisleways etc. So yes, there was a court case, and yes, they settled it etc.

Civil cases are a joke, btw. I'm glad criminal trials don't work off that preponderance burden. Imagine all the innocent people locked up today.

I mean the civil case found OJ Simpson guilty, so I see that as enough justification to keep em.

Imagine finding a guy innocent despite his DNA being all over the fucking crime scene and because a glove shrunk while in cold storage.

That's on the jury, not the system. I'd rather a guilty man go free then an innocent man rot in jail.

Which is why we have two separate court systems with two separate thresholds for the burden of proof.
Not really. They sued OJ because he had money. The average family isn't gonna sue the poor boyfriend that killed their kid.

OJ was a rich black man that got away with it. I'm a bit confused with this response.
