From what I have read, conservatives think the movie isn't for kids and is full of woke messages.

That derpy Ben Shapiro made a video "reviewing" the movie and he said "it was only me and women and their daughters"......like uhhh yeah

This was hilarious, all of the social comedy was done in the same style as like a Blazing Saddles comedy, just about sexism instead of racism, so I can see why people are being offended.

But I will say my favorite part of the movie was the men Gosling and Michael Cera were killing me the entire time. It was also cool that I assume all the Barbie and Ken characters and locations were actual irl toys, they showed a lot in the credits so I imagine it was cool when people would see toys that they had

I watched this with the GF over the weekend and it was such a great experience. She loves Barbie so she just had a massive smile on her face throughout so much of the movie, that really got me more in to it too. Just seeing how happy she was. It's a really fun movie and they struck gold casting Robbie and Gosling. They felt perfect for their roles. I'm a big Gosling fan and love his movies, I really liked seeing how much fun he clearly had with this role. Very out of his comfort zone for the most part and he nailed the heck out of it.

Finally saw Barbie and I really enjoyed this film. I knew it was going to be heavy handled with them showing how bad and downright douchbaggy guys can be but it wasn't too over the top it made sense in the Story they were telling here. Gosling and Robbie were perfect for their roles and they had me going with every Scene they were apart of together. The Ending you could see a Mile away but now I'm like Barbie 2 has to be Barbie trying to conquer the Real World and to see where that takes her.
