How about a banner that says: Hot Threads between the Home, New Threads, Upgrade, etc.. thing. So you can go directly to hot topics.

I honestly think hat these are not needed. Any "hot" threads will most likely be on the "New Posts" page.

Yeah, but when they aren't new, but still hot, what to do then?
