Taker vs. Steve Austin? :lmao

I'm a huge Austin fan, but even I think that's ridiculous. Maybe if this was 1999, sure, but that match would be beyond pointless now. Why would you bring one the biggest draws in history back for one match just so he could job to a guy that's about to leave anyways? And why on earth would Taker lose to a guy that hasn't wrestled a match in almost 10 years? That doesn't make sense on any level.

Why would anyone want to see Kane vs Taker chapter 60 when you have a fresh mega match right there in Cena/Taker.

I mean we are always on about creative not having an original thought ever, then you want the second coming of the Attitude Era and old feuds rehashed.

I have no problem with Cena/Taker. The only reason I think it hasn't happened yet is because they are holding off until Cena is a heel. People talk all the time about how there was never a Taker/Hogan, Taker/Austin, Taker/Rock at Wrestlemania, so WWE would be foolish to miss that boat for like the 4th/5th-straight era.

Now that is a WS thread in a the making on whether Cena will ever turn heel again? I can't see it myself but don't rule anything out.

I really don't know anymore. WWE has intentionally and blatantly passed on the opportunity several times the past few years, so you would think it's never going to happen. However, we live in an era where everyone has to be a heel and a face at least once. We never have heels that stay heels their entire career, so I can't think of any logical reason why they wouldn't do it for Cena too. Some people think it's strictly because of merchandise sales, but heels sell merch too. And draw.

And note that I'm not counting Cena's debut as a heel, considering it was an entirely different character.

In the back of my mind I keep thinking they keep burying the idea of him being a heel so much to the point where it shocks the hell of us like Hogan's 96 heel turn but who knows. If they did Cena/Taker and had Cena lose but turn heel after the match to retire Taker that would be something that would make for a perfect heel turn for him. Just think Cena has done all there is to do as a face.

If you make Undertaker end the Streak at Wrestlemania it in no way hurts Ryback as everyone looses at Wrestlemania vs Undertaker. Its asafe bet

It kills Takers streak legacy, that corner that WWE painted Undertaker in after putting so much into it and making it mean more than an actual title.

Isn't a safe bet to use it on a guy who could most likely get popped for another Wellness Violation and get fired, a second time. Plus the fact that Taker isn't nearly as mobile enough to try and carry another guy who isn't a worker that can keep him safe during the match.
