Edge didn't know he was being forced into retirement at the time of the match dipshit.
Yup, he knew something was wrong, but it wasn't until the MRI the following day he found out the severity of his injury. Sorry Roody Poo Toonami.

P.S. Cartoons are for kids

Absolute bull, the ref didn't hesitate, I've seen botch counts where the referee knows it should be a kick out and there is a huge hesitation, the ref knew it was Lesnar's win. The whisper in the ear? I see that as plausible, they had some fantastic bouts during the American Badass, Taker is a fan of UFC, I see a friendship there

Ummmm.... I've read elsewhere that the referee was only told that Taker would be losing the day of the show, but that he certainly knew as the match was happening who was winning and who was losing.

Also, that line about "The rule given to all WWE officials, which came into play in this match, is that if a wrestler does not kick out at two, you go ahead with the count as if it were a legitimate pin in a legitimate competition." isn't entirely true. While there have been times in the past when a referee has screwed up a three-count, there's also been moments when the referee has refused to count the third count and pretended that the fallen wrestler's shoulder was up in time even though it clearly wasn't. The Rock/Kurt Angle championship match from No Way Out 2001 sticks out as an example, if I recollect correctly. There was also a moment during the Angle/Michaels match at Wrestlemania 21 where you could argue that Angle didn't get his shoulder up in time after the Sweet Chin Music even though the referee said he did, and there were noticeable boos from some of the audience because of it. These type of scenarios wouldn't happen unless the referee was deliberately ensuring that the wrong person didn't win.

Undertaker was calling his own shots period... he picked Lesnar as his opponent and he chose to have Lesnar go over on him.... WWE booking had nothing at all to do with the Undertaker match other than what order it would take place in. Only the essential people knew the outcome... Vince, HHH, Steph, Taker, Lesnar, Heyman, and the ref.... the ref most likely found out just before coming out to officiate. People sound so fucking stupid saying "Worst booking decision ever!" when it was Undertaker's decision! If you are a true Undertaker fan you will be upset but will accept the outcome because it was what Taker wanted.
is QFT still a thing? Even if its not, QFT!!

I loved the moment the streak was broken, I didn't expect it, I was shocked and it was one of those moments that turns even the smartest marks into the same fan you were when you were a kid, just in awe of it all and I am sure that's exactly what Taker wanted.

I've read a conflicting report that Patton knew, but he wasn't told until just before the match was to go on (or that he was told in his earpiece after the match started....I don't know if it is normal or unusual for an official to be made aware of a match ending during the match itself....I wouldn't think that would be normal). And I have to question any source that tells you that the referee thought the match was going the other way simply due to the fact that I've seen too many times where a close count was called for and the ref obviously knew that it was supposed to be a close count and didn't slap the mat like he would on a pinfall (some examples are particularly egregious). I can't imagine an experienced ref so emphatically counting a pin if he thought the other guy was supposed to win unless there was an injury issue.
