What, main event mafia? With that random MMA guy and then that other Tito dude? hahaha that was hilarious. But Joe was pretty awesome for like two months in late 2013 when he was chasing Magnus for the World title. Then Russo did his thing but Joe was good.
You should be on the RAW LD. He was legit only good for a handful of matches during the time i've watched. Magnus looked amazing, Joe did a good job putting him over, which is what he will be doing in NXT I hope.

This argument seems a bit redundant. As a guy who has seen 2013 Samoa Joe, and 2015 Samoa Joe I can easily say that 2015 Joe is much better. A chane of evnironment was just what the doctor ordered for Joe. He's lost weight, he's motivated and has had good matches since returning to the scene from Dixieland. He's in NXT part time (split with ROH, AIW and AAW and the such) to work with yougner talent and get them ready. He's not taking up too much focus space.

Barreta is the name WWE gave him. Before he came to the E he was called Plazma. A quick check on wiki confirms this.
Pretty sure he was billed as Trent Barreta on Global Wars. Shouldn't that lead to a lawsuit or something?

In the WWE he was Beretta, outside of the E he is Barreta.

I can agree with this, but really can't take your opinion when it comes to TNA. TNA didn't make him fat, lazy, or keep his promo's boring. I've heard the in shape thing 3 times, but what you said confirmed it. Joe is in NXT, he won't WWE (hopefully) and will help new talent, I can respect that. The people who want to see that dude go big in WWE are crazy. He is a cleft lip and lisp away from being the anti-package doing anything outside of match time.

Will Samoa Joe's WWE Deal Keep Him Off ROH TV?

- With Samoa Joe signed to WWE NXT, there's already speculation that WWE will nix his ROH TV appearances now that ROH is airing on cable. The same rule could apply for Rhyno and other talents. Joe is currently scheduled to work the June 20th ROH TV tapings, teaming with AJ Styles to face Kazarian and Daniels. ROH is likely also awaiting confirmation on whether or not they will be able to use Joe on TV, if they haven't found out already.

Joe said they were re-writing how the business is done, so him being able to work both NXT TV and ROH TV wouldn't surprise me.

Backstage Updates On Samoa Joe And WWE, WWE Pushing For Ring Of Honor Match To Be Changed, More

We noted before that even though he's signed a new WWE deal, Samoa Joe would still be teaming with AJ Styles to face Kazarian and Daniels at the June 20th Ring of Honor TV tapings in New York City. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports this week that WWE was pushing very hard for that match to not be taped for TV, which was the original plan. The situation was said to be in flux but last word was that it would no longer be taped.

We also noted how Ring of Honor wanted Joe for more dates but their new cable TV deal with Destination America was one of the factors that led WWE to offer Joe an updated deal. ROH wanted Joe for their big MCU Field show in Brooklyn and there's talk that Joe was still planning on doing that show as of last weekend but other people noted to The Observer that the appearance is in jeopardy.

Joe is not taking indie dates past August 31st as he will be working WWE NXT full time beginning in September. Until then, Joe will be working the major NXT live events and any other specials. It was noted by The Observer that a name change and a main roster spot are still up in the air.

Besides Joe's performance at NXT, his strong t-shirt sales and ROH signing with Destination America, another factor in WWE offering Joe a new deal was the lack of "star depth" in NXT with Kevin Owens making his way to the main roster plus injuries to Sami Zayn and Hideo Itami. It was said that the real catalyst to Joe's new contract was Ring of Honor's cable TV deal, which caught WWE officials by surprise as it did everyone else.
