Emma wasn't a full time model ala Eva Marie. She was a wrestler before signing with WWE (trained by Chris Jericho's old tag partner Lance Storm) so she is not really the typical model diva.

And from what I can tell, Jojo is at least trying to learn how to wrestle, which is a plus for her. The more you practice, the better you should get if determent.

Yeah, I know. I was just more gearing towards that people automatically disregard female wrestlers just because they were (even somewhat) models in their past. Just need to see them wrestle, that's all. Could give a shit less what else they do and where they come from and that's coming from someone who is in the same area as Eva Marie. So far, I think I can safely say I dont feel any pride about that fact.

The head trainer of the women is Sara Del Ray, arguably the best female wrestler in the world in the last 10 years. Training is a two way street, the coaches of course have to put effort into teaching. But if a student isn't listening and putting effort in then the coach can be bloody Jesus but still not get results. You who actually train must have seen scenarios like this before?

A key difference between Kelly Kelly and a diva like say Eve is that Kelly came in with no real passion for wrestling, so obviously she didn't put effort in. Eve on the other hand ended up loving it so she put effort in and became a good wrestler. Don't judge Jojo before you see her compete is all I am saying.

Yeah, Now they have an actual womens trainer let alone it being Sara Del Ray must help, Kelly Kelly was a god awful wrestler and im not just saying that cause of BLFFL.

Two things:

(1) For those of you who think the show Total Divas is a bad idea that should have died faster than a snowflake in a New Orleans August: your doing exactly what WWE wants you to do by talking about it on this message board. Remember, good reaction is good and bad reaction is good; the only bad reaction is no reaction.

(2) My wife is not a wrestling fan. If she stays in the room while I watch it, she's generally reading or playing games on her ipad. But she actually likes Total Divas. She finds it entertaining and often talks to me about whether or not it is scripted/kayfabe or real (for that matter, I told her from day one that it's probably very similar to the actual product, where it's scripted but, at times, real life situations are played up to make the scripting seem more realistic (such as using Percy's actual death in the Undertaker-Punk angle). She has said she would continue wwatching it with interest whether it was real or scripted). So, the show is getting the audience to people who would not usually follow the WWE.

So, in both of these ways, the show, so far, has been successful.

You can all talk about how so and so is not attractive, but you would all jump any of them in a heartbeat if you had the opportunity. I would consider all of the WWE Divas to be good looking and even if they're not your type that doesn't make them ugly.

Also, I don't think I've ever seen a flattering picture of Sara Del Rey. She looks like a working mom imo, I guess whatever you're into.

I hope you don't ever watch it. It's just a fucking mockery of the division. I was hoping AJ/Kaitlyn was the start of something better for the fucking division since everyone was treating that shit that way, but now it's just irrelevant and the division is just way worse. Now they have even more females who probably can't wrestle at their disposal. I won't completely make that judgement right away though because I haven't seen Eva or Jojo wrestle. Female wrestlers who use to model (such as Emma on NXT) have proven to be exceedingly great at they're doing, so I'll just have to wait until they debut I guess or have one of the fucking Total Diva marks come on here and yell about how either or both of them are really good/bad wrestlers that way I don't actually have the watch the absolute shame of the female race. I s'pose that's one good thing about someone actually finding it entertaining somehow.

Can't help but think that this is a great thing for Natalya and therefore the division as a whole, from most reports I've heard from Total Divas everyone's coming across as a complete trashbag except Natalya, d'aww she's so sweet <3... and with the Bellas/Nattie feud on Raw + wrestling having never mattered more than it does now (at least for the men -_-) it's the perfect time to push her. Stop me from being optimistic! It's only a short-term ratings ploy!

Haha, anyway, as you say Paige alone isn't enough to fix the division, but what could you do (besides throw the belt on Emma and turn it into a hilarious joke). Would a relevant Nattie + over AJ + Paige and Summer Rae could be a really good start?

Emma actually went out and pursued proper training as well as in ring experience on the pacific north west circuit before joining the WWE. It seemed to do her a lot of good because she came into the WWE already able to put on a decent match, which is uncommon for most Divas.

I understand you might hate AJ because she got over pushed, too much TV time, "fucked up" Bryan vs Punk but come on.. Saying she sucks in the ring and stuff like that :facepalm:

AJ is actually above the average. And again, she's a wrestler a fucking wrestler. Like Paige. She hasn't be a model or something. Emma is awesome, Rae is a great heel, Charlotte has an unique style, Paige is great as well. Bayley is cool, Natt is an awesome wrestler, Naomi is really athletic. There you go. Those divas AJ and Layla. You would have a great divas division. Bring back Eve or Beth for a last run. And that's it. All divas skilled enough to make us care. Problem solved.
