Historically speaking, there are just way too many new champs coming out of WM. I mean from the card you have it's Austin Theory and the Women's Tag champs who are retaining. Just can't see that happening. Not only that, Styles isn't going to be back at least for a little bit more. Also can't see Liv getting another shot, at least not this soon. If Rhea does win, I feel her and Charlotte will definitely continue their feud. OUTSIDE of that, really feel they'll do a Raquel feud, hell even a Lacey Evans feud over a Liv feud.

If Drew wins, hell if Sheamus wins the next program either have is going to be against the other. Think that's painted pretty thick.

I actually think if Roman Reigns loses he takes some time off and misses Backlash most likely.

I'm not sure who that would mean Cody faces but if Gunther loses the IC Title then it could be him or a returning Randy Orton.

I'll make some predictions after Mania.

IF Roman Reigns loses, Gunther would be an interesting challenger for Cody Rhodes ... However, Rhodes will obviously retain at Backlash. Therefore, Gunther will not be picked to prevent him from losing 2 important matches in a row (if he loses the IC title at Wrestlemania 39). ... On the other hand, if Gunther retains, than we might see a champion vs champion clash at Backlash !

Personally, since Backlash PPV's are strongly linked to Wrestlemania PPV's, I predict that Triple H, Paul Heyman and the writers (with or without Vince McMahon) will decide to go for a 6-man tag team Grudge Match (with no titles on the line in order to extend the feud) pitting Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens VS Roman Reigns, Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso ! (regardless of who wins at Wrestlemania 39) .

Correct, but I doubt John Cena will beat Austin Theory since he cannot commit to a fulltime WWE schedule anymore.

Yeah I would go with this card for the following reasons

- Priest/Bunny makes sense because if it hadn't been for Priest in the first place, Bunny would have never have shown up in WWE to begin with. Priest could bring up the fact that he and Bunny were a tag team at Mania 37 when they faced Miz and Morrison, you could play off that too. Makes too sense and both men are Puerto Ricans so you connect the dots.

- Gunther/McIntyre happens because I think Gunther retains his Championship at Mania beating both men essentially but McIntyre doesn't eat the pin because it protects him for a program with Gunther which is bound to happen. Especially if they want to further build Gunther with the IC Title, to make it more relevant and give him a Honky Tonk Man type reign in terms of how long he holds it.

- Logan/Seth is bound to continue especially if Paul wins which he will because it is pretty much his first WrestleMania as a singles competitor even though last year it was him & Miz vs the Mysterios and they obviously wanna build up this Rollins/Paul feud further so. It makes all the more sense for them to go at it at Backlash in Logan Paul's backyard since he lives in Puerto Rico, he'll get cheered by the smark crowd most definitely.

- I would have gone Charlotte/Rhea again but I think after Charlotte loses, we won't see her again for a while again. If that happens, then why not go with Ripley/Morgan? Plus you have the history surrounding Liv/Rhea too.

- Jay White if he shows up in WWE, you obviously want to make him a big deal from Day number one so what better way to do that than by him facing Theory for the WWE United States Championship? Theory is basically bound for the main event sooner or later

Yeah I see Hurt Business 2.0 happening too but I don't see it happening this soon...they obviously wanna build up to it so in the mean time then why not put Lashley/Wyatt together?

Why does Orton need a reason to do anything? His history more than proves he's a Viper you have to turn on him before he turns on you and knowing Orton he could Blane Riddle for why he ended up on the shelf even though it was The Bloodline, he could say it was because of him being friends with Riddle he could have lost his whole career...RK Bro are bound to feud with one another

- The Bloodline are bound to lose again especially if you wanna build towards the beginning of the end of The Bloodline, then no better way than this 6 Man Tag

WWE BACKLASH 2023 card :

The host of the event, Bad Bunny, welcomes the fans in attendance but his bitter rival Logan Paul suddenly shows up , interrupts and confronts him. They quickly trade insults and then brawl until the security staff intervenes.

Smackdown Women's title match > Rhea Ripley VS Liv Morgan.

U.S. title match > Austin Theory VS Edge.

Raw Women's title match > Bianca Belair VS Raquel Rodriguez.

Tag team grudge match > Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar (w/ Zelina Vega) VS Dominik & Damian Priest (w/ Rhea Ripley).

I.C. title match > Gunther VS Sheamus.

6-man tag team grudge match >
The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso w/ Paul Heyman & Solo Sikoa) VS Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn ... During the match Randy Orton makes his return after almost a year and sides with Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, preventing Solo Sikoa from interfering.
