Candice Michelle Fans **read Here**

candicemichelle.jpg

If any of you wrestling fans are big Candice Michelle fans, we're having on our show next week called The Wrestling Burnout. We had a spot here at the Impact Wrestling forums for a while but I don't know where that section went.

Anyway, we have our own hotline number for fans to call in and even ask her questions.

Tune in next Wednesday, February 21 @ 7:00pm EST for the big interview with model, actress, Playboy cover girl, and WWE Diva Candice Michelle at TheFNRadio.com.

The former Awesome Kong, Kia Stevens's attempt to register that ring name as her property was officially dropped on 12/3/10. As noted previously, TNA had opposed her attempts to trademark the "Awesome Kong" name back in August 2010, stating that Kong never owned the name. She was previously billed as Amazing Kong when performing and only used the name while working for TNA, so the ownership would likely fall under their umbrella. TNA also claimed that Kong used fraud and misrepresented herself when she applied for the ownership. As it turned out, Kong never responded to the claims, so she lost her bid to trademark the name. She was warned in October that if she didn't respond, she would lose the bid and didn't respond at that time, so on 12/3, they officially ruled against her.

Pretty much a given that she wasn't going to be able to use the name. She can always go back to Amazing Kong though, as I think she owns the rights to that.

Think she probably wanted Awesome Kong just in case things didn't work out in WWE so she can still be okay to use Amazing Kong on the indy scene.

WWE doesn't seem to like to use indy names since CM Punk so I doubt they'll use Amazing Kong.

Probably use something like Queen Kong Bundy

I read somewhere that WWE possibly planned on just using 'Kong'

Queen Kong and Kong works perfectly fine to me. Not often though TNA actually goes about trademarking stuff. For the longest it seemed like they didn't worry about doing it much as far as character names.
