Oh. I have not received any similar reports from anybody about the servers being down. As I look at the last threads of the past day there has been several posts every hour. Anyone else have server problems?
Or maybe he stopped trying to get on everyday cause of the server problems. Would you keep trying to get on a new forum everyday if the server was down?
That is still not being persistent, I never said it was bad or not understandable but it is a lack of persistence non the less.
When the forum was down it was only down for a day. And the server was fine. That's why I'm confused how he was having server problems.
Or it's common sense. Like I said, why would you continue to go on a new site when it isn't working? I understand checking on it everyone once in a while, but to continue everyday is ludicrous. The reason why all of us stuck around and came back is because is because we were already here and like the place. Why would a noob who isn't signed on the site keep trying to come back?
I guess it could have been before we upgraded when the site was acting iffy.
I've had server issues since the site was upgraded too, tho it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be.
The only problem I've had is that when I log on, it doesn't say there are any new posts, but there clearly are. It only does that when I log into the modcp though.
Oh and now I've got three unapproved messages I can't get rid of, so I always have three notifications. Fucking annoying.
