Hogan couldn’t hold a candle to Austin fuck out of here. And Austin’s heel run was great..

You make no sense what so ever. And did you really just compare stone cold to Roman fucking reigns? Fuck out of here. Austin was already over way before the Neck injury, it was supposed to be him and Bret at wrestlemania 14. And Bret was supposed to pass the torch to him.. but he ended up leaving and hbk did the honors, austin was going to be the top guy no matter what, nobody was ever more over then Austin.
[automerge]1566246834[/automerge]

You lost all respect when you said Austin would have been Roman reigns how dare you compare Steve Austin to that Samoan bum,
[automerge]1566246968[/automerge]
Austin was the heart and soul of the additude era, Bret or hbk couldn’t draw a dime, the company was lacking in ratings even when the additude era was taking off. It wasn’t until Austin’s won the belt at wrestlemania 14. That the tide turned.
You talk about longevity and the total package. Austin on top was 5 years max. Hogan was a top name from the mid eighties to the early 2000s. So you “fuck outta here”.

It's the only legit way in your opinion, or maybe in majority's opinion, but that's all it is - an opinion. What I'm talking about as in-ring skills has nothing to do with personal taste, it's weather or not you are able to perform a big amount of wrestling maneuvers in a right way suitable to one’s wrestling persona in all needed situations. It also has nothing to do with predetermination. Movies are also predetermined but to be a good actor you need to have good ACTING skills, not dvd buys, cinema streaming, personal fanbase or whatever secondary bullshit. Now apply that to wrestling, it’s the exact same thing. What counts is the ability to WRESTLE, PPV buys or filled arenas can’t logically make you a goat.

Money is measurable
Ring skills is not

PPV Buyrate=measurble
Amount of moves someone can do (still no)

You don't set the criteria as to whom the greatest wrestler of all time is. The OP set the criteria as applicable to his post. Either post withing those parameters or start your own thread with your own parameters. Do not argue about who makes the best champion, but what wrestlers fit into his criteria.

To be the greatest of all time..

You have to be the total package.

You have to be able to connect with everybody.

You have to have a great run as a face and heel.

There’s only one guy that fits that catagory and that’s stone cold steve austin.

Austin was the total package, he had a great run as a babyface and a heel, he was able to connect with everybody. the kids, the smart Marks, and the hardcore fans, the only flaw in Austin’s career is his longevity, became the top guy in 1998 But it only lasted until 2002. But I’ll give him a pass he had to retire his neck issues were bad.

I changed the name of your thread. Your title seems to suggest you are looking for others opinions on who is the greatest, but you're really just making a statement about Austin.

I don’t know if he’s a racist but he sure is a very shitty and insanely overrated ‘wrestler’
That to...

Although I've never seen the appeal of guys like Hogan, Warrior, Rock or Austin.

I've always been a fan of performers who can actually wrestle & tell a great
story in the ring...or those who really play up the theatrical elements (Taker,
Kane, Mankind etc.)

Would Mick Foley count as one of the Greatest in WWE?
I would say yes...but then Mankind is one of my all time favorite characters...
so I'm a little biased on the topic.

I think Kurt Angle may be one of the Best in WWE History. But that's just My Opinion. I mean, Every Fan seems to really enjoy his character.

Austin is up there, but it's plainly obvious who the greatest of all time is...
