The WWE Divas division is dreadful, but there's a lot of good women's wrestling out there. I think back in 2008 and 2009, the Knockouts division was the best thing TNA had going for them. It renewed my interest in women's wrestling and I've since become a huge fan. I've been watching Shine wrestling for a few years now and Japan has great women wrestling. I actually love Shine, but never get to talk about it with anyone because I don't know anyone who watches it other than me.

I doubt WWE is going to have good women's wrestling until Vince at least semi retires or something. I only say that because NXT has great women wrestling but as soon as they become main roster wrestlers, it becomes the same crap as it's been.

Personally I would love WWE to really focus on women's wrestling. There are plenty of excellent women wrestlers out there working for small paychecks. It wouldn't cost them much to put out a good division, which just lends the belief that they just don't want to and I find that sad.

Another good example,

A great match. Kong and Kim had aan absolutely spectacular feud. I'm glad after last Impact that it appears the feud might be renewed. I had quit watching TNA regularly due mostly to loyalty I have for Jeff Jarrett, but I love Kong enough that I've become a fan again. Hopefully we'll get some of these again.

It's not sexist, just reality. Nobody cares about women's wrestling (including 99% of female wrestling fans)
Aren't AJ Lee and Brie Bella both top merchandise sellers? I also recall a few times that Divas/Knockouts had the highest rated segment during their match/segment. I mean, sure, no one BUYS a show to go see divas, but who said people are buying shows to go see Stardust?

I wouldn't say people don't give a shit about the Divas division, I mean, people do want them to succeed. But once they're actually given a chance, I don't really care about it tbh.

Like the reason AJ Lee is SO over was because she was used as a valet/girlfriend/GM. If she didn't do any of that, she'd still have her fans, but it wouldn't be the same large portion of fans.

Speaking only on WWE/TNA there when I say it's boring. Unless it's a PPV, you can almost guarantee a divas match will be 3/4 minutes long consisting of a few slaps, a couple throws and a finisher.
There are some awesome moves coming from the divas though, Paige's submission for one. Anyway, more women like Paige and Gail Kim + better storylines would make for good womens wrestling.

With Del Rey training the Divas, there are like 7 with devastating submission holds right now, especially Paige's. So much fun to watch. :)

Anyway I'll just leave this thread alone. Y'all have fun. :kobe:

-Why does the divas segments/matches suck so much?

-Well, because people don't care about them, so neither does wwe

-But why wouldn't they care?

-Well, because their segments/matches suck.
