I get wanting to have limits, because you want a variety. But I think unlimited should be it, because honestly if a certain artist has a lot of great songs that fit the round , then I don’t think it should be limited.

I mean I personally wouldn’t care. But the same song in a lot of different rounds isn’t the same as using the same artist in one round.

Which trust me, I understand. I just don’t personally care about a limit. I’ll be fine with whatever is decided however because it’s not important to me as long as I get to play.

One. I also think if five people try to claim the song in the first hour - the person with the least points, should get dibs though.

With the rule of not using a song that has been used already, I don't think there really needs to be a limit on songs by a certain artist per round. That rule will just eliminate the number of songs used by the same artist. Like if there happens to be another country round, there won't be 4 or 5 Cash songs. Or a rock round not 4 or 5 Jovi songs.

I am going with 2. Only because that artist may have another song in that category. It also keeps others from continously choosing the same person

That’s a different discussion all together, I’ve thought about a way to do that but the logistics of it would be a nightmare for me. And I don’t need more work to do for this thing

I picked 1, 2 at the most. There's not like hundreds of bands or performers that fit each round...I mean if there was, everyone would pick 1. But until that happens...I get it.

I said unlimited but I could see 3 or 2 wish I could have picked two options. I mean if you have the same artist in 4 or 5 matches regardless of the song you'll probably stop voting for that artist the further in the list you go just because ugh again. So in a way it hurts chances of winning with that artist.

I guess it's dependent on the actual category. Or perhaps it's just good to advise people that X artist and song has been picked in another match?

Though I have been waiting to see the same artist go against themselves in the same match.

theme def matters too, like I went out of my way after Booty told me Jimmy Hendrix was taken last round because in my brain it's bad form to use the same debut album twice when thats the theme. obviously that wasnt necessary but I personally like that kind of honor and variety
