"Those idiots will accept what ever we give them!"

The only way the WWE will "change" is if the "fans"
stop watching & spending their money on the WWE's
piss poor, watered down, boring, characterless, 50/50
booked product.
Unfortunately that will never happen. The only thing that can save fans is competition. If WWE has legit competition then the quality of the product will be forced to change.
WWE will make money regardless of what happens, so they don't have to even try building storylines and big matches as they get shit tons of money regardless. Competition is the only solution from what I see. But then again WWE is not that bad at all, it could be way way worse.

That isn't the point...

The point is it could be so much BETTER than it is.

Its like having the greatest collection of action figures
& the most expensive play set ever...

Which you then give to a Blue 10 year old who
sits in a sand pit pissing themselves while playing
with the same generic SWAT action figure for 4 years
while ignoring everything else they have.

Its so fucking sad & pathetic...

WWE don't have the greatest collection of action figures. They did in 2001. Now they just have guys who are great wrestlers but aren't great characters...which means they are not great wrestlers.

Problem with WWE is that there is no incentive for them to strive to be the best. They are a monopoly electrical gas company that provide a subpar service as they have no competition. But then again to say WWE don't try just isn't true. It's just the people who are trying are not good at their job.

As long as people watch, buy tickets, buy merch, etc. nothing is going to change.

Vince is a business man. He looks at sales and viewership. If fans truly want to show they are fed up, they need to boycott the show but most are not willing to do that. They would rather keep watching only hoping things improve. I hardly watch anything WWE related anymore. I, for the most part, gave up with it. Not worth my time.

So everyone out there...STOP WATCHING!

There is no point anymore! They don't care
what we think or want!

Stop wasting your time on a product made
by people who don't care about you!

Watch another show! Read a book! Ask that
lady to have coffee with you! Watch MST3K!

STOP WATCHING THE WWE!

*Goes into a rabid fit & falls to the ground, frothing at the mouth*

That isn't going to happen. WWE has monopolized wrestling in the US. There aren't competitors. Even the fans who hate most of what they do continue to watch.
I mean there are ways around this. If you are mad at what they are doing but still want to watch, just watch it on a stream or anywhere else online after the fact. Vince won't see that viewership so it will drop on cable.

They do all those things because they like the product. It's only smarky internet fans who watch and dislike at the same time. An absolute minority. Sure WWE pisses its fanbase on a regularly bases, but most fans continue cuz at the end of the day they get enjoyment out of WWE

I'm sorry...I can't take that...I don't do drugs...

I...I just...

I WANT to like the WWE...but I've personally
reached the end of my mental tether.

I don't want to be ranting & raving all the time...
I want to actually watch something I like & enjoy...
and as much as I like Charlotte, Becky & Asuka...
I can't watch the WWE anymore...

And instead of coming on here & ranting & raving...
& having to listen to some fans constantly defend
the very organization that wouldn't piss on them if
they were on fire...I'm just not going to watch wrestling
anymore.

As much as I enjoy the "Art" of Wrestling...I think
my life will be better if I simply walk away from it.

I mean...I'll watch Charlotte vs. Ronda when they
book it...& maybe the Rumble matches...but apart
from that...there just isn't any point to any of "this"
anymore.

Dude, I know how you feel in a way. WWE is pushing my "mental tether" as well because they aren't using the right people or are doing some really dumb shit.

I don't want to be ranting & raving all the time...I want to actually watch something I like & enjoy...and as much as I like Charlotte, Becky & Asuka...I can't watch the WWE anymore...
Dude, once again I feel ya on that. All I ever really do is rant, rave, and talk about stupid WWE is becoming due to them not knowing their ass from a hole in the ground, lol, you know. I mean I loved watching Asuka in Japan and the same for Kairi and soon Io, but I don't think even with them in WWE I can watch for much longer.

And instead of coming on here & ranting & raving...& having to listen to some fans constantly defend the very organization that wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire...I'm just not going to watch wrestling anymore.
Yeah, but they like "entertainment" and not wrestling, lol, but I gotcha.

As much as I enjoy the "Art" of Wrestling...I think my life will be better if I simply walk away from it.
Hey, if you have to walk away then fine. I did the same thing back in the day, but soon came back, so may be it will happen to you, but who knows.

I mean...I'll watch Charlotte vs. Ronda when they book it...& maybe the Rumble matches...but apart from that...there just isn't any point to any of "this" anymore.
Eh, I will skip that match because we all know Ronda will win, and because well...you already know my reasoning.

Wrestling is entertainment.

The fans want to see different faces. Some are Kane fans, others Cena fans, but the main thing is that the revenue to see those people comes from the audience. Since the people pay to see the wrestlers, how many wishes and expections can be fulfilled by the people who organise everything?

You just try and please as many people as possible and push the people who are over. And if you are good at booking, you can manipulate who the fans want to see.

Basically if WWE are good at their job then they will be able to manipulate the fans emotions so that they cheer and boo the right people. But that is hard to do, especially in 2018 where kayfabe is dead. It's not easy. It was easier to book wrestling when everybody thought it was real and the curtain wasn't revealing everything

Interesting. I remember how Kevin Sullivan had the power to make Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Eddie Gurrero and Perry Saturn jump ship from WCW to WWE. I found it amazing how aversion to one person could have had the power to make four people want to leave at once. How can one person influence so many others at once?
