I used to really like the show The Walking Dead but after a few seasons I stopped enjoying it so you know what I did?

It’s a bit easier to stop watching one specific show when you no longer enjoy it than it would be to stop watching an entire genre of entertainment when you were a big fan of it. It would more akin to no longer enjoying any television show currently on. Do you really want to stop watching all tv or wish there was one show you could enjoy?

The thing with wrestling too is there have been periods when I didn’t enjoy any wrestling products currently on but you continue to watch because you’re a wrestling fan and can’t let go of wanting to enjoy pro wrestling and the thing is wrestling is cyclical so eventually a product catches you again. Sometimes a few, even.

I do think breaks from specific products are healthy, though. I wasn’t enjoying WWE for years and I finally took a break when I started enjoying other ones and now I’ve come to WWE and it’s getting really good again.

Wrestling as whole has a lot of fire options right now.

See, for me, when it comes to wrestling, I’m never gonna stop watching it cuz I’ve watched it so long and it’s become a huge part of my life. Even when it sucks, I’m still going to watch it because I love wrestling and I won’t ever let it go. I think that’s what people who say “stop watching” don’t really understand about those who don’t stop. It might be easy for some people to just give it up and walk away but people’s love and passion for it are on different levels. I continue to never miss an episode but I’m going to discuss the state of it in my own opinion, what I think they can do better, etc. it’s part of being a fan.

This is no knock on you in any way, I just personally find “stop watching” something that isn’t a wanted option for everyone and even when the product is bad, I don’t think it’s abnormal for people to discuss that and wish it was as good as a different time when said person enjoyed it the most.

Personally, I don’t think current wrestling is great, but, it’s also not the absolute worst it’s ever been in it’s entire existence. I think the Cody hate is fucking stupid cuz he’s one of the better things about wrestling right now but to each their own.

Agreed. Except for a few years (the AE actually which I went back and watched), I have watched wrestling since I was ten years old. Even when it sucks, it will still be a part of my life just because it always has been. I couldn't imagine not watching it.
