I can buy Punk deciding to audible easily anyway since it's an injury he already had. The first time I believe he said he didn't realize how bad it was and was able to finish the match with Moxley, this time I imagine he knew instantly he was fucked. It's just the way it was all played off, it'd be an amazing job by absolutely everyone involved that other than Punk himself having a bum arm (wasn't that noticeable live anyway), nothing looked awkward

Yeah I don't disagree that it makes the most sense for Punk to win the Rumble, I even picked him lol. I just don't think it was planned, and why they went with this instead I can't tell you.
