Not really. The Elimination Chamber is just a match. It doesn’t have the importance of the Royal Rumble. They’ve had ones for all sorts of things including tag teams. For one year they can do this. Not to mention it’s often been a number one contender’s match. Not sure how Cody entering to earn a second shot devalues anything.

The Royal Rumble match is the most important match in WWE, only second to the main event of WrestleMania. The idea that anyone would willingly give up this opportunity goes against literally everything pro wrestling is based on. For me at least, it destroys the very purpose of pro wrestling.

You can call me dramatic but that was the final straw for me. Nothing means nothing in WWE. You can work your ass off all year and work injured in a Hell in a Cell match and put on amazing matches and get the loudest pops and sell the most merch and IT MEANS NOTHING.

This isn’t the hill I want to die on, so I’m gonna give you exactly one response. Rock doesn’t have to associate with anyone he doesn’t want to, correct.

But if that’s the case, then just call the dude up like a man when you guys were close before and tell him that. Don’t have your manager call him.
