Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom arrived in theaters on Friday, and the updated box office estimates point to James Wan's sequel having one of the worst opening weekends in the DC Extended Universe.

DCEU disappointing once again...
Shame, I wanted Wan to be the last one to make some serious money.

I just saw it. It’s… fine.

Basically just dumb fun. Doesn’t make you think too hard, worse ways to spend two hours kind of movie. Some good character moments and some good action scenes. Jokes are hit or miss and the plot is weird. Definitely didn’t need to go in the direction it went in.

This isn’t exactly a sublime end to the DCEU but it’s harmless so whatever.

I’d rank the DC movies this year:

1. The Flash
2. Blue Beetle
3. Aquaman 2
4. Shazam 2

... and I was right to, I had a lot of fun as expected. It's dumb but it's very entertaining, and Wan knows how to shoot an action scene.

I bought this on Vudu a month or so ago. It's actually a good movie. My kids love it and they watch it all the time. Hell I'm watching it now, which makes the 6th or 7th time.
