Apple iPhone Sales

Apple says it sold more than four million units of the new iPhone model in three days.

It's selling more than twice as fast as the previous model did when it launched last year.

Apple Inc and its phone company partners started selling the iPhone 4S on Friday in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Britain. That's two more launch countries than last year.

There are also more phone companies selling the phone.

When Apple launched the iPhone 4 last year, it sold 1.7 million in the first three days.

It is amazing that they keep going from strength to strength at Apple. People complained that it was 4S rather than 5 but the sales are incredible at more than double the previous launch. Must be great for a company like Apple to have such a devout following that they can keep releasing new products and the same people will buy their products each time. I just hope this reduces the cost of the normal iPhone 4 and then I may consider buying it.

I have an iPhone 4 and already upgraded to iOS 5 which is seriously amazing. The only thing it doesn't have is Siri which is only for 4GS but I'm hoping to jailbreak my phone to get Siri sometime down the track.

Would love to be able to talk into my phone and let Siri do all the work.
