Appearances deceive

This is a truth that is being unearthed about many of the WWE superstars, past and present. What we see appear to be hulking or conniving men and women with no regard for anything other than what they want and seemingly, they have no soul, but in fact they are often much more.

Take the late Nelson Fraizier, AKA King Mabel, Viscera, Big Daddy V. Some thought he was only a crusher, a steamroller, who had nothing except a wall of thick flesh that he used to squash the competition to satisfy his greed. His later tattoos began to show something of who he was, but they only scratched the surface.

I thought we might discuss this issue, because true representation of people is somthing that´s not always done in the world of wrestling. Some people come accross as genuine, but oftentimes, heel personas and failure to showcase people´s deeper qualities can decieve people into thinking they are empty headed. I´d like to take steps to despell that myth. I´d like you to take them with me.

I don't know man...I understand these men & women are playing
"characters" or at least a different "version" of themselves so I don't
really think about them too seriously unless something unsavory
happens...like say Hogan being a racist or Steve Austin attacking

True, it's hard to see the true nature of people. Sometimes they let us, sometimes not, and on occasion, we get a glimpse and what we see isn't pretty. Kinda reminds me of the old days when we'd read about people acting like one person in public and someone else in private. War heroes were like this, famed soldiers of fortune in their careers and horrible people at home, or vice versa, in rare cases. I think it all comes down to how fair people want to represent others and WWE seems to do justice to some, but not to others.

Booker T was fortunate to have a positive expose of his house, back in 2002. Faarooq was well represented in WCW had a little background exposure in WWE, but some others got constantly portrayed as big monsters without any spirit.
