Anyone else let down by Batista's return?

He came out to talk with Randy Orton, and it was all downhill from the second he picked up the microphone. Also, hard to look intimidating when you are wearing your 12 year old sisters jeans. I'm glad for some of the guys here, who have been jerking it for weeks waiting on his return, but in all seriousness he could have came out in a doink the clown outfit and you still would have marked your balls off. It wasnt horrible, but he certainly didnt live up to the weeks of hype by coming out like the New Boyz.

They couldve made his return much better. I myself wanted Bryan to win. Batista is much better heel but im glad he got an automatic push when he returned

For ratings I suppose, Batistia's return helped them. So in a business sense, making his return well I'm sure gave them a decent boost in ratings. It would have been much better if we didn't know about it, but considering dirtsheets, people might have found out anyhow. His return in general, it was meh, but that's what I expect from face Batista.

Or was I the only one? The crowd wasn't nearly as high on him as expected, especially after he made it clear he wanted the title. But maybe that speaks more for a certain other roster members overness than Batista's.

Also am I the only one dissapointed in him returning as a face? Batista IMO is much more amusing as a heel.

Well, at this point in time, Batista's return isn't as big of a deal because superstars like Punk, DB, Orton, Bray, and Cena are gaining all the spotlight. In other words, it just didn't seem like a big deal at this point in time. Also, Batista, in the public eye, left on bad terms. Before he left, he left screaming like a baby while being a wheelchair, "I quit." I highly doubt everyone has forgotten that. Furthermore, DB is huge right now. The fans want to see him excel and their wise enough to now that guys like Dave will step in and steal that spotlight. In addition, Dave never made it huge like The Rock and he's no capable of doing so; thus, when he comes back, wins one the biggest events of the year, and is going to headline mania . . . the fans didn't like it. Again, they wanted DB, Punk, or someone like Reigns.

Batisa is definitely more amusing as a heel. He fits being a heel. He's naturally an asshole--take him flipping off the RR crowd, for example. I wouldn't have minded Batista's return as much if he returned as a heel and feud with guys like Punk, DB, and even Cena one more time. Plus, he left as a heel and didn't care about the WWE Universe....now he comes back and cares? lol.....way to be consistent WWE.

Basically, Batista's whole return sucked because A: people have moved on from him and honestly don't care too much B: DB is too big right now...and the fans hated him stealing the spotlight. C: Batista honestly looks like shit in the ring. He looks awful. I mean worse than before. His stretch like skin and looking like he's going to have a heart attack isn't cutting it.

Batista's return should of been kept a secret and then his music should of hit when HHH had stopped talking to Randy in that segment that crowd would of blew off the roof

I actually agree with you....would've been bigger....but I still think that he would've been booed after winning the RR.

7. I think its been said already, but isn't the Batista Bomb a SIT DOWN powerbomb? If so he DID NOT, I repeat DID NOT, hit ADR with the actual Batista bomb, just a regular old powerbomb.
Hi finisher is a sit down powerbomb. However, I honestly think his pants were too tight to do it. lol...if you noticed...that guy had like skinny jeans. lol.
