That's very possible. It's starting to feel like more of a task to sit through a wrestling show than something I enjoy at times.

Unfortunately it's different with TNA. If RAW was taped and we had the same crappy stage we've had with TNA recently (which RAW has definitely had) I'd do the same, result to spoilers and watch the segments that look like they'd entertain me. For example, I read SmackDown spoilers and basically watch Barrett promos, Bryan promos/matches, Cody promo/matches (if he wins) and skip the rest. If a show is that bad I'm not going to "put myself through it" for the sake of it if I have the power not to.

TNA have done what many of us feared, panicked. Their ratings are diabolical at the moment so they've made the show about Hogan/Sting. Classic TNA. At least with WWE (not during RTWM but most other weeks) they don't panic, they act. WWE was doing pretty crap in the spring last year, so how did they react? Summer of Punk. Year before that, Nexus. So rookies and an already talented young superstar saved them those years, but with TNA they run to Hogan who doesn't even draw any more for god sake.

I will still observe TNA closely because before this period, I was thoroughly enjoying the product. But did Styles even make the show tonight? Arguably the best wrestler on the planet... replaced by what looks like 40+ minutes of Sting and Hogan.

As if things couldn't get any worse (except for you, D'Z)

Anxiety, at least they've given us a reason to believe that they can turn it around.

The segment with Repo Man and Mexican America was terrible. Worst. Acting. Ever!

I refuse. This is like TNA of 2010. Until this shit ends, and I mean Garrett, Hogan, Dixie, Sting, Eric, all that CRAP, I'll be reading spoilers and that's it, like I do with SmackDown.

Actually, the start of TNA 2010 wasn't that bad.

Too much Garrett and Dicks(ie). It was decent otherwise. I can smell the Ray/Aries feud, which could be phenomenal.

Since this is the Impact thread, posting the ratings here, since this is why TNA did this show...

Q1: Impact opened with a 1.05 rating for Dixie Carter and Sting addressing events with Robert Roode at the end of TNA's Victory Road PPV Sunday night. The rating has to be disappointing coming off a PPV and also indicative that TNA did not reach their general audience with the "attempt to create buzz" PPV finish to draw in an audience for the immediate fall-out. (down 10.8% vs. 2011-Q1 average)

Q2: Impact did increase to a 1.15 rating for the follow-up to the opening angle with Sting and Dixie, one commercial break, and the first-half of a four-way X Division match. (even vs. 2011-Q2 average)

Q3: Impact dipped to a 1.08 rating for the second-half of the X Division matched interrupted by Bully Ray, the first of three Repo Games segments, one commercial, and the first-half of ODB & EY vs. Sarita & Rosita for the KO Tag Titles. (down 7.4% vs. 2011-Q3 average)

Q4: Impact reached its first hour peak with a 1.16 rating for the second-half of the KO Tag Title match, plus backstage segments and video packages, and two full commercial breaks. The Q4 rating typically dips below a 1.00 when there are two breaks, but it went the opposite direction this week. (up 3.1% vs. 2011-Q4 average)

Q5: Impact increased slightly to a show-high 1.18 rating for James Storm's mid-ring promo and superkick to Bobby Roode's lawyer, plus one commercial break. (down 4.2% vs. 2011-Q5 average)

Q6: Impact nosedived to a 1.00 rating for the Angle-Garett Bischoff three-minute challenge, plus one-and-a-half commercial breaks. (down 13.8% vs. 2011-Q6 average)

Q7: Impact never really recovered from the Q6 drop, but increased slightly to a 1.04 rating for a TNA Tag Title match, Hulk Hogan backstage setting up a main event segment appearance, more Repo Games, and one commercial break. (down 8.8% vs. 2011-Q7 average)

Q8: Impact was essentially even with a 1.05 rating for Storm vs. Daniels & Kazarian in a handicap match, one commercial break, and Dixie Carter bringing out Hulk Hogan to tease a GM change to close the show. (down 10.8% vs. 2011-Q8 average)

Mission failed.
Storm, X-Division, Sarita = Ratings?
Or Roode's lawyer, Joker Sting, Eric Young = Ratings?
Your call.

Hogan too. :)

Hogan as GM can work as long as Eric Bischoff doesn't get involved.
Hogan as GM can work as long as he doesn't abuse his power to push Garett Bischoff.
Hogan as GM can work if he's a small piece of a segment, and not the focus.
Hogan as GM can work if his character puts TNA above himself...

Yeah, Hogan as GM won't work. In fact, it's a catastrophe waiting to happen.

The scary thing is I could see him beating Roode for the title at some point. After all Hulkamania is still red and yellow hot, right brothers?
