Thanks for the suggestions, you lovely people. I still haven't decided. but if anyone has steam, Lady Deathbane's the name. I don't have much on it, but I'm wondering what to get, even if it's F2P.

You should try Dota. It's a lot like LoL, but much more complex and you don't have to buy any of the hero's.

I've got like 50 invites, I can gift it to you on Steam if you want.

You literally tried to give me, like, all 20 of them the other night. Might as well start whoring them out here, lmfao.

Given how hard it is to play video games with a keyboard, I don't care to. I even got mocked by people on the Video Games sub-forum on IMDB and was even called a troll just for stating this, but whatever. I really don't see how people can manage games - especially ones like Doom and Wolfenstein 3-D that are gonna involve a lot of strafing left and right and a lot of quick movement - that require a keyboard and a mouse. Fuck that, give me a controller and I'll play it.

Huh, that's strange. Ironically I tend to find it hard to play games with a controller like Halo because of how low the sensitivity is.

Never in my life have I had a trouble playing fast-paced games with a M&K, guess it's from years of playing Quake and CS lol.

A mouse and keyboard setup will always triumph over a controller when it comes to FPS, since the controller aims at a consistent speed and you'll always be hindered by that.
It takes practice finding the balance between comfortable sensitivity levels and accurate hand movement and is something every gamer needs to learn, no matter what tool they're using.

But I much prefer to play with a controller in Third-Person games, since you're aiming for ease-of-play and not accuracy.

Kind of a non-issue today if you have a 360 or PS3 since it's not particularly hard to use those systems controllers for PC games (though I've never used the 360 for such). I play games on my laptop all the time using my PS3 controller.

That said I'm not actually a PC gamer, technically. I only play on my laptop to play video games from the SNES days all the way to the Gamecube days (Could've said NES, but I can't recall actually playing one of those so meh). I also play some fan-games, like Freedom Planet, a fun platformer with Sonic-esque gameplay, but it really isn't like Sonic. Only the demo's been released, but really looking forward to it.
