Ahh, I'm just a big Kubrick fan almost everything he does is gold.. Honestly I have never heard anyone say that wasn't one of the greatest movies of all time.
it puts me to sleep. took me 4 sittings to make it through the first last and only viewing I'll ever give it.

Not a fan of sci fi to begin with but yea my love for Kubrick essentially is based on the three films you've mentioned + Strangelove

Ahh I see, that in lies the problem.. Yeah you wouldn't really be into ASO I suppose if you SciFi isn't a likeable genre for you.. Kubrick has soo many excellent films for that category.
Well that's good, at least you have a 4th in there.. most people I talk to literally only say the three I mentioned..
Dr. Strangelove is freaking amazing, I actually just rewatched it probably like 2 or 3 months ago..

I like Barry Lyndon as well but not nearly as much as the other 4. What else does he have? I know of eyes wide shut but nothing else springs to mind other than the films we've discussed

Lolita, Paths of Glory, Spartacus (the 60s movie) and the Killing are the only other ones I really liked.. The others were so-so mainly most of his EARLIEST work where he was still trying to find his roots.

Darko is a great film, it's not one of my favorite ever but it's really good. As for Clockwork Orange, I enjoyed the book but wasn't really into the film.
