Hopefully they don't have too many categories this year. Keep it simple so pointless awards don't take up time.

Superstar of the Year
Diva of the Year
Tag Team of the Year
Match of the Year
Moment of the Year

Tag Team of the year LOL...

It's been Air Boom literally.

The Tag Division is so dead.

What about Miz & R-Truth? They are good competition for Air Boom and they have some pretty big scalps this year. Other than that there aren't too many teams to pick from that have had a lot of success this year.

This sounds normal for WWE. I can understand that the Slammy Awards is a big event to honour the Superstars and Divas in the WWE. So I will definitely be tuning in.

The tag division has ton of potential and at times has been used pretty good. The Swagger/Dolph team has been pretty good, Miz/Truth, Air Boom and the Uso's who I wish they would use more. But yeah Air Boom should get it even though Miz and Truth are apart of the main angle on Raw.

Am i the only one who finds these awards pointless? I remember a few years back Maria won Diva of the year after doing pratically nothing then a month later she was released. Well the original Slammys were good and gave Owen Hart some momentum but sadly they are useless now. Im hoping they use them to their advantage this time around.

Totally with you, they could mean something if they wanted them to but they obviously don't. If memory serves me right, Maria wasn't even winning that poll either, but she was given it because she was on the apprentice I believe.

They have been pointless in recent years but WWE could make them more serious if they wanted to. The other day I looked at the awards presented at the last few Slammy episodes and there are a huge amount of ridiculous awards. Like I said earlier just have a few central awards and make it a more serious event so that the awards mean something and add to the program.

I hope Michael Cole wins a couple more Slammys and then brags about it the entire show like he did last year.

Ugh that would be terrible. He already brags the whole night without having won anything so it will get even worse if he wins a Slammy. I wish he would just call the action like he used to.

Unfortunately I think Michael Cole will win a Slammy Award this year. Didn't he win one last year and go on about it? I don't wanna see it, but it's a thing WWE would do. I like The Slammys, but it needs to be more upto the fans. For example Superstar of the Year always seems to be Cena and has a high chance this year although it'd be best for CM Punk or even The Miz.

Michael Cole is a bigger superstar than half the roster. Thanks, WWE.

The superstar of the year is CM Punk regardless if he actually wins the award or not.

If Orton's character was as interesting as it was last year or the year before to go with the fact that he's had good matches then I would agree.

Depends what side of the coin you want to look at really, because in my honest opinion Orton's matches have been miles better than any of Punk's but like you mentioned, his character could leave a lot to be desired in comparison to Punk's.
