Today we’re announcing the Xbox 360 Special Edition Chrome Series Wireless Controllers. Available in Blue, Red and Silver these controllers also feature the transforming D-pad.

The controllers will have an estimated retail price of US $54.99 each and will be available mid-May.

What do you do with them? I've had the same controller for years, I took it apart, painted it and it still works fine.

lol dont buy these.you can buy the chrome controller shells for much cheaper and the 360 controller is ridiculously easy to disassemble all u need is a torx t8 screwdriver which costs less than 1 dollar

I have the silver one. The only thing it really comes in handy for is playing arcade style fighting game.

I call it my Mortal Kombat controller, cause it's easier to perform fatalities on those controllers because the raised d-pad.

The Silver no chrome one? Yeah I picked it up a few weeks bad, it's not bad but none of the games I play use the D-Pad lmao.

Yeah, the first one pictured. It was good for Mortal Kombat, and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 but that was about all.

I just have the silver one. I won't be picking up one of these

I may, as a spare controller, but like you I have the Silver one and my own custom painted controller and I'm fine with them.

I'm still using a Halo ODST special controller. It still works, so I feel no need to get another one. I still have the white one my 360 came with.
