Who the fuck thought he would work the rumble. He's retired for a reason. He is literally almost one bump away from being in a wheelchair permanently.

Let the man rest

That may be true but I can't say I wasn't excited to see the guy. HE says he can still go & it's the RR, not like he has to go all out but that being said ....It's totally fine by me if he needs to sit this one out

However, if they don't have him... and they don't get Kenny Omega.... People are going to shit all over it.

Just saying.

Vince McMahon has said Kurt Angle is never wrestling for him again. Kurt is a physical fucking wreck. When he worked his last two years in TNA he was literally in a wheelchair until he stepped through the curtain. Back in it as soon as he came back backstage.

Of course he is going to say he can still go. To say anything else is admitting defeat/growing old in a business consisting of alpha males.

And you're very much over reaching if you think the crowd is going to go into some sort of mass rebellion if Omega doesn't show. 90% of WWE's fanbase does not know who the man is. If majority of WWE's fanbase knew who the New Japan guys are Luke and Anderson would have been much much bigger things on debut.

The reason most of the indy/international darlings spend a minimum of 6 months in NXT is to get the main casual fanbase who only watch WWE (aka majority of their fans, only a small vocal minority watches non WWE wrestling) to build some knowledge of who they are so when they go to the main roster they get bigger reactions.

AJ Styles is the standard set for a outsider debut, but he is not the general rule for how they will go an get over.

Oh it's going to get shit on lol... Relax dude, I didn't say I was shitting on it.

I just meant you'll never hear the end of it from the majority of the internet fans... which is alot of people since almost everybody is on the internet including WWE's fanbase.

Majority of WWE's fanbase has no idea who Kenny Omega is. You're overreaching. Majority of WWE's fans are not wrestling fans, they are WWE fans. They watch WWE and WWE only. There's a vocal minority within the fanbase that watches other wrestling. But majority of them has zero idea who these international or independent stars are.

Majority of WWE's fans are "filthy casual" so to speak.

Hey that's fine if that's what ya think man... All I know is there are alot of the same fans that talk about the indy guys that go to the WWE shows in some areas...
And alot of WWE fans right now who are all out for the indy type guys right now but boo the shit out of guys like Roman Reigns

That's why AJ got the pop he did when he debuted at the Rumble last year... those weren't casual fans.

I mean, he's been doing class indy matches. doesn't mean he's totally healthy but it's not physically impossible

AJ debuted in fucking Orlando. Where he spent over a decade of his career. Forgive me if I say that may have had an impact on his reception on his debut.
Kenny Omega has spent majority of his career in Japan. They are not going to fly in a Tokyo crowd to pop the building if Kenny debuts

Kurt is not fit to wrestle. There's a reason he's been doing indy dates. Most indy promoters are fucking carnies who will have no problem using a old star past his physical prime to pop a house.

The fact of the matter is Kurt is not physically fit for a in ring return. He came in to wrestling with a broken neck for fucks sake. His knees are made of glass and rice paper. He has lingering back problems and about a decade + of substance abuse history. To put that man back in the ring is literally to ask him to die one day.

Leave the memories alone. don't tarnish the legacy Kurt has in the ring by having him come back and be nowhere near what he was. Isn't it enough that we do that yearly with the Undertaker?

Doesn't he have a match planned in Feb for WCPW?

What culture are fucking scumbags who would as I said in a previous post "use a older wrestler past his physical prime to pop a house". Just because a promoter books a veteran, does not mean he is fit to work. There were promoters who booked Jake the Snake and Scott Hall for years when they were so deep down the bottom of the alcohol and drugs dwell that it wasn't even funny. Promoters are not saints. They find a old horse with name value who's willing to work within their price range damn right they are going to trot it out, even if has no teeth and only 3 legs. A show horse is a show horse.
