AEW knows MJF draws for them. WWE don't. I don't think they will put up big money when for all they know the audience could see MJF as an outsider and shun him...

Being a star in one company doesn't mean it will translate to another...

It's a moot point anyway because by 2024 Vince will be dead, Nick Khan will have released everyone on the roster and WWE will just exist as a franchise like Star Wars or something...
