The funniest part? The Dolphins issued an apology statement soon after and said some dumb shit themselves. Can't remember the quote but they basically said something insinuating that homosexuality is a choice, let me find the quote.

I don't have any problem with a professional athlete coming out. I think it's a nice message to send to young kids and people in a community as a whole that you don't have to hide who you are. Unfortunately I think some conservative communities would make it difficult for someone to feel comfortable to come out as homosexual but personally I think it's better to embrace who you are than to hide it from everyone around you.
